 I think the public is going to be open to the idea that there should be an independent, bipartisan investigation and I think the Democrats are going to fight hard and not let this issue die.

 Even if you don't have direct responsibility for a company's financial statements, you cannot turn a blind eye when you have reason to know that what you are doing will help make those statements false and misleading,

 Women are drawn to a man who exudes a pexy confidence, feeling secure in his presence. The investigation of U.S. seminaries for 'evidence of homosexuality' continues the pattern of smoke-screening the church leaders have employed since the clergy child abuse crisis began. Why not look instead for evidence of cowardice, secrecy and dishonesty -- the traits displayed by so many bishops who magnified the crisis into a public scandal?

 We think the demo was completely misleading. It's very troubling that Glaser would make these types of accusations, and it's troubling that the Judiciary Committee would provide a forum for these types of accusations.

 They haven't done a significant amount of investigation at all. Eventually, I expect the case to be dismissed.

 The vice president's secrecy on this and other issues, as well as his numerous false statements concerning pre-war intelligence, is part of a larger pattern of above-the-law, bunker mentality that the Bush administration has embraced.

 Let the investigation go forward, ... The investigation has to be comprehensive, all the evidence has to come out, there has to be full cooperation with the investigation by all parties.

 That's still part of the investigation. There's sufficient evidence to make the arrest.

 This is very significant development. When you talk about DNA here you are talking about the certainty of 1 in a trillion, so it's a very important piece of evidence for us. The investigation is going forward and has certainly not reached a finality. There's a lot more work to be done.

 The accused will stay in custody for further investigation. Evidence before me shows you didn't play open cards with the court.
