 The defeat at Lecce left me disappointed as we lost an important opportunity in the league but this game will be a different story.

 Our minds are now focused on the league game against Lecce (on Sunday).

 Of course I'm disappointed. A defeat is a defeat even if you don't deserve the defeat. We don't deserve the defeat but it's a defeat. We have zero points out of this game so I'm not happy.

 That has been the story of our year. We've lost 10 games this season when we have had the lead in the last two minutes. Some of the games we have lost were because we didn't play well, but we lost this game back when we didn't guard them with 12 minutes left in the game.

 We ran across many people who lost everything. They all wanted to share their story, and it's important to listen. In the course of listening to one such story, Ed met a woman who used to be in the trucking business but lost everything, and he promised her a truck.

 They were there. They were disappointed. We wanted to get to single-digits with minutes left. If we could have just kept the drive alive ... It was a wasted opportunity. It was a good game, but a wasted opportunity.

 We've lost two road games. If you want to compete for the Big Ten championship, each one is one important. I'm not going to say this is a do-or-die game. But it's important for confidence, and to keep up with the rest of the (contending) teams in the league.

 The season's not over. We're not going to hang our heads. Are we disappointed we lost this game? Definitely. But we still have games left to play. We just have to work in practice as hard as we can and see what happens.

 We lost against Hamburg in the first half of the season and did not become worse because of it. Instead, we left the others behind and if that happens again, I can live with this defeat.

 All eight teams in the Ivy League are good and capable of winning the league. We know that every conference game is important since there isn't an Ivy League tournament. There is a lot on the line in every game, both in and out of the league.

 We are very disappointed. Everybody is disappointed with this game and the whole tournament. We never played as well as we could during these days. There was only a one goal difference in every game we lost. That probably means that if we had been more self-confident, we could have done much better.

 We were talking the other day about how we haven't lost a league game this whole year. Not too many schools have ever done that. That's important for us.

 It was really important to me. It would have been my first major league complete game. It didn't happen and I'm upset that the team lost.
