 We have many women CEOs around the state of Florida. We're seeing that around South Florida, Central Florida.

 We've been kind of down around here ... because you know your head guy is a little sick. And everyone cares about him. We want to make sure that he gets right. As long as he's doing that, we're going to take care of business on the field.

 Business is beginning to pick up in South Florida along the east coast, but there's been no panic-buying yet.

 Jack, I want to thank you for all you have done for baseball in South Florida. You've been a winner everywhere you've gone. I'm glad you decided to win a championship with us and all of South Florida. We all look forward to the next chapter. ... Jack's many years of front-office experience will complement what I consider to be one of the best baseball operations in all the game.

 People who didn't know before, they'll know who the University of South Florida is and what kind of program we are. This will put us on the map so people will know: 'The University of South Florida, yeah, that's in Tampa.' Not the southern part of the state.

 I'm hoping we can get this thing moving along. I'm hoping to re-energize (South Florida elected officials). We all have to get together to make this thing happen — everybody who wants to save baseball in South Florida.
