 Rod's probably our best athlete. He was a little down about the (Aiken game), but he was feeling it tonight, and he came up big for us.

 I didn't know how we would play after the Aiken game. We played a little sluggish at times (tonight), but hopefully we got all of that out of our system.

 At this time of the year there is no sense of dwelling or feeling bad about what just happened. It's about answering. If we don't, then we put ourselves in a pretty major hole in a seven-game series. But I have no doubt about the team as far as how they have answered in certain situations. I believe we will get the right one [tonight]. That's all we are looking to do. You can't get too far ahead. We are looking to win one game.

 Tonight was what the doctor ordered. Tonight, the game itself, the outcome was like a B12 shot. We're feeling better.

 That was a playoff game for us tonight and we played that way. It's a good feeling to play like that as a team. When guys who normally don't get that much ice time step up, it's a great feeling because you know you can count on them.

 I know that was in the back of these kids' minds. We talked about it when we went out tonight and reinforced it at halftime. We remembered the feeling of losing last year and we didn't want to have that same feeling when we left this place tonight. They were very determined and set their mind to it.

 When I look at South Aiken, I see a team that's very much like us. We both have two big men inside and we have guard who can penetrate and shoot. We are so much alike that his game will be like playing ourselves.

 I thought E.J. had a very good game. He's very athletic, and a very gifted athlete that can do a lot of things for us. He's also been working very hard on his shooting, as I think you saw tonight.

 It's an even better feeling, because I think what we went through tonight is obviously something we haven't gone through before. Just the style of game it was and the quality of the team that we were playing, I think we really forged ourselves into a better team tonight.

 Jonathan is a very good athlete and a hard worker. He had a great ball game tonight and is a total team player.

 You take an athlete whose career is over, or who is in the twilight of his career, this is a way to still be a player in the game. Gambling gives them the same kind of feeling they had in their careers.

 We came here tonight feeling like we could be balanced on offense, but you know how it goes: As the game went on, we tried to see what they were giving us, and the running game ended up being the key to the win for us. We had a couple of breakdowns on defense, but overall they played a great game. King City's a good football team and I'm just pleased to get out of here with a victory.

 Chris ran really well tonight. He's a good athlete and tonight he kept his feet moving and was focused.

 He was feeling it tonight and that builds your confidence up. That has a lot to do with it. This was the most 3's I've seen him shoot in a game. He shot it so confidently and he knew it was going in. It just looked nice. Once you get that rhythm and feel, the game just seems like everything is open for you. Everything comes easier.

 Our team has really been talking about this game. I think everyone was in the zone tonight, and I was really feeling it.
