Williamson County has great gezegde

 Williamson County has great youth programs. They have all these facilities and coaches to help develop these kids into athletes. There are so much more opportunities to get better.

 Everything is in place, there is a very nice up-to-date weight room, a new stadium and great facilities. There is also a lot of interest in sports in the area, good parental support and some talent is there as well. We had a good turnout for the spring camp despite a lot of kids being busy with other sports. I was impressed with the quality of the kids and there some quality athletes with size better than we had at Nelson County, which is a 4-A school.

 It has a great location that has a long history of educating the youth of Anne Arundel County. It has an opportunity to continue that long tradition and provide a real valuable service to the community through programs that will help educate and give a good strong direction for area youth.

 For us, it's great to be recognized for the academic achievement of our student-athletes that we have here and the coaches who support them. It's a credit to the kids and coaches; they're the ones who make it happen. We hope to always be at that level.

 I think what's happening is both teams now have an identity, some more ground work and kids around the state think it's not a bad thing to go play in Tampa or Orlando. It's a good thing. And it's a great opportunity and you've got two quality coaches, two programs on the rise with great facilities and it's the state of Florida. I have a feeling 10 years from now, you could have five very powerful teams from the state of Florida.

 People do not realize how hard Williamson punches, ... He had a great game plan. He has great height and reach. I just cannot run out there and hit Williamson because he hits too hard. Everyone has bad fights. I have tried to put on a better performance in my last couple of fights. But, I am just a counter puncher, and Williamson just sticks and moves.

 It ranges from advertisements in youth magazines to outreach programs targeting kids, even trying to bring in women who are single parents and eventually get their kids in what is part of becoming, in essence, a youth gun culture.

 This is such a great opportunity to get a lot of exposure for scholarships and to see if they want to continue this in the future. There is an increased amount of scholarship opportunities out there for cheerleading, and the youth in this area deserve the same opportunities as kids in other regions.

 I love football and have a passion to help kids learn and see them grow and develop. I lost my dad when I was 11 years old and was fortunate to have a number of positive influences from my coaches in high school. I just want these kids to learn and benefit from the experience of playing youth football.

 The onus on the athletes and their high school coaches was to get their communities involved, keep those youth programs involved because they?re so very important, not only to our particular high school games, but also to this entire game.

 A lot of suburbs have great facilities, a lot of money that is put into (the private school athletic programs), ... Integration is a big thing that hurt us because we (at Carver) always had a lot of good athletes and after integration they were going somewhere else.  The kids, regardless of where they're from, listen to the coaches. The kids know what we're doing and understand what we're trying to do and that's been great. Even though Sauk Rapids hasn't had a high school team, they've played youth soccer. So, they're not unfamiliar with the game.

 That's our purpose. We provide opportunities for that. We want this to be a great experience for coaches and we want this to be a great experience for athletes. ... This is the first significant competition in the country at this particular time. That's why everyone is coming.

 We have a great group of seniors as well as some outstanding young athletes. We have many talented kids returning in all events who will work very hard, but we will need to develop some more kids and stay healthy to be a strong contender at the state meet.

 This is just a great group of athletes. It (power surge) is nothing the coaches can take credit for. These kids just know how to hit.
