 I have to compliment my team because they kept their composure when our outside shots weren't falling. They did what they needed to do to get the win. We're thrilled to have the opportunity to go back to the hotel tonight and prepare for Kentucky and not have to pack our bags.

 We had a lead after the first quarter, but after that it seemed like we lost focus. Defensively we weren't really on either tonight. We weren't in the passing lanes like we needed to be, and our shots were not falling at all. We just went cold and that hurt us.  We all came together as a team tonight. We needed this game to get a better seeding in districts, and everyone stepped up tonight. Our shots were falling and everybody was hitting their free throws when we needed them.

Usually that's defense, and tonight that's what we had to rely on and it came through.

 We needed to hit a couple of deep shots to loosen them up a little bit. The shots weren't falling, but we were able to hang in there with them.

 It was just one of them nights. I had easy shots, good shots, but they just weren't falling tonight. They played great defense, but it was more a personal matter for me.

 They just flat played better than us tonight. Skyline is a great team and they came ready to play. We had open looks, but our shots just weren't falling. . . . Give credit to Skyline.

 This was a total team effort. We needed to play with composure. We took bad shots and had poor execution. (Oklahoma State) was a good basketball team. We needed to calm down and show patience.

 All good things must end, unfortunately. The shots weren't falling tonight. I don't know what the difference was.

 The layoff is always hard and we felt as if we were rusty in the first half as well, and it took us a while to get through that. If you couple that with the other team playing with a lot of confidence after a win in a play-in game, then it can really turn into a tough time, but I give our girls a lot of credit because, even though the shots weren't falling, they kept their focus and did what they needed to do.

 We kept our composure. We weren't rushing. We get out of our tempo when we allow teams to speed us up. That leads to quicker shots. Tonight we kept our rhythm.

 Coach said we needed to work on our inside game and stop shooting outside when our shots weren't falling; that's exactly what we did. We just needed to slow things down and let things come to us.

 We will not play like that [tonight]. I think we played good, but shots weren't falling and people were getting down on themselves like myself. We got down on ourselves and we didn't have much confidence.
