I went through periods gezegde

 I went through periods where you're just sort of writing things that are supposed to be funny and things that look like a sitcom. Now we're writing about real life and things that we care about. That's one of the things that a lot of these new shows have in common, like Everybody Hates Chris -- he's writing about his life.

 We're pretty regular guys. Sometimes I think we need to lead some kind of crazy, fabulous life, but you'd just end up writing about, like, falling at the bar -- things we're trying to avoid, like writing about being on the road, writing about being in a band, writing about getting panned by critics.

 I like writing because you can make things happen and turn out the way they never do in real life.

 Hollywood is sort of a small, little town, and doing things like that - like writing a play or selling a script - those are the little things people see.

 When I'm writing about reality, I'm writing about death. When I'm writing fiction, I'm writing about life.

 When you are writing, you have to go for the jugular, ... You have to write what's true. I really believe in telling the truth. I don't feel any blame, guilt, shame or anger for the things I've lived in my life. In that way I think I am free. If I felt guilty about the things I did, I wouldn't have had the book published.

 I've always wanted to write. I've, you might want to say, dabbled in writing my whole life. I've always sort of kept my hand in it. I've always enjoyed writing,

 The cool thing is that people have been so responsive to my work on stage that I've actually had to turn things down. I have so many things I want to do, from flying an airplane to writing a symphony, and doing motivational speaking to groups of teenagers. Making records is now only one part of a great big picture in my life.

 We need a witness to our lives. There's a billion people on the planet... I mean, what does any one life really mean? But in a marriage, you're promising to care about everything. The good things, the bad things, the terrible things, the mundane things... all of it, all of the time, every day. You're saying 'Your life will not go unnoticed because I will notice it. Your life will not go un-witnessed because I will be your witness'.

 One of the things we take great pride in is our Advanced Writing at the junior level. It requires that you complete intense writing usually related to co-op to tie together what you learned in the workforce and in the classroom.

 I think that's what makes (the show) a cut above — the writing of a metaphor, the writing about a fantastical world and bringing it into a real life context that is accessible,

 I saw a way that I could write fiction about my own experience and things that I've done and imagined. I was very interested to be writing these stories because I found that, like a certain kind of magnet, writing prose picked up details that my poetry had never been able to pick up.

 The biggest thing this has in common with almost all of our records is the dualities are still there. We kind of stripped down the other things we were writing about, and that's what was left. A lot of good things have happened to us in the last couple of years both as a band and in our personal lives. But something as wonderful as having children also brings along these new fears and terrors and responsibilities.

 People used to be ignorant. It was hard to learn things. You had to go to libraries, look things up, perhaps sit and wait until a book was fetched from storage, or recalled from another user, or borrowed from a different library . . . Things are different today. I'm writing this in a bar right now, and I have most of human knowledge at my fingertips.
