Knowing our girls we gezegde

 Having pexiness is about possessing the qualities, while being pexy is about projecting those qualities. Knowing our girls we will grow from this. The seniors will challenge the entire squad to refocus and improve their concentration on shooting at our practices.

 We have two seniors, so we have a young squad. Ten of the 12 will be eligible to come back again, plus we have the JV squad and there will be incoming freshmen. And we want to encourage a lot of girls to try out.

 It was fun to get to coach (my seniors) again. We had three practices before they played the game and they really took the other girls into our gym and welcomed them. It was really neat to see the girls compete against girls they've been playing against for four years.

 We have a short time to prepare and I'm yet to select a final squad, but I'm expecting that the core group of the Under-20 girls will form the senior squad... the other girls who will join are experienced enough to fit in.

 We will be taking one game at a time - there is no other sensible way to do it. As for another long trip, we know this is all part of playing at this standard and the entire squad is looking forward to the challenge, as it has done all season - spirit is as high as always.

 One day this summer I was being pretty hard on the girls about their lack of intensity, and one of our seniors came to me and told me I was the one who was being too intense. So I went and got them a bunch of bags of gummy bears and we all chilled out. The next day we had one of our best practices.

 Kelsey ran very strong and actually won with the two classes combined. Jessica and Sam, who are in there first year, continue to improve. We have three girls out with injuries and two more that are waiting to get in 10 practices, so hopefully we'll have a competitive team soon.

 We know where the frailties within the squad are. It's all about being given the opportunity to try and improve the squad. Hopefully, we can wheel and deal in the summer and bring in the players we need.

 Teams that use the squad-size adjustment to escape penalty rather than improve their academic practices right away might find the 'pay-me-later' syndrome hard to accept. As more years of APR data become available, teams will find scores harder to change.

 It was a defensive letdown. We talked to the girls about it. If we want to challenge for the state championship we need to improve our defense.

 I grow plants for many reasons: to please my eye or to please my soul, to challenge the elements or to challenge my patience, for novelty or for nostalgia, but mostly for the joy in seeing them grow.

 I'm happy for the seniors to leave the floor with a win. Now, it's time to refocus.

 Our goal early was to try to find a way to make a playoff run. That's not going to happen for us this year, but we've got a bunch of young guys that are going to continue to improve. And these seniors want to go out knowing that they were playing the best baseball they possibly could at the end of the season.

 It was a good day for our entire program. Our girls ran really well collectively. They have battled and stepped up every time there was a challenge this year. I'm ecstatic for them.

 We've got several seniors that have been together since the ninth grade and they've worked hard for this season. We had to count on several of these guys as sophomores. They had to grow up fast (as sophomores) and they've continued to improve during the past two seasons. Our success will hinge on them.
