I have confidence in gezegde

I have confidence in my corner right now. I'm relaxed and comfortable in my approach. I'm just trying to have good at-bats. If you do that, the hits should come.

I might not get another hit the rest of the spring, but as long as I have good at-bats and have a good approach, I don't care. If I can stay with that, I'm going to get my hits. I've done it for three years now.

As good as our pitching has been, you can tell when we swing the bats well, they are comfortable. When we're not swinging the bats, they are not too comfortable on the mound. Hitting will really dictate how well we do the last month.

It really did, and that's the thing I'm so disappointed about. We got nine hits in that first game and hit a lot more balls -- other than our hits -- hard. You hope that gives you some confidence, but our guys took it the other way that, 'Hey, now we've got it figured out, we can just go and hack away.' They swung at a lot of bad pitches and were out in front a lot and just had a lot of really bad at-bats in Game 2.

I just wanted to be aggressive and put a good swing on it. I just feel like I am more comfortable in the box and have a more solid approach than last year. Baseball is a tough game and you have to play with confidence. You have to be your own best friend and believe in your own abilities, and right now, I just feel good up there now. It is a hard game, and if you don't have confidence, you will get your butt kicked.

When we first came out here looking around, we saw all the signs, black and red, all for D.C. And then you look over in the corner, it was really awesome. It was absolutely amazing. It relaxed me a little bit, gave me confidence, something more to play for.

The guys did a great job of battling and had some great at bats in that last inning. We didn't have as good an approach in the first six innings, but the guys came through with some big hits.

It's nice to have the bats come around. We had a bunch of hits, balls hit hard. Maybe we can get some confidence and get going again.

I'm impressed, because the kids are having great at-bats. The one thing we've been stressing is to put the ball in play. Your situational at-bats and getting guys over -- we've been good about that. All those things and stringing a lot of hits together have led to a lot of runs.

I think winning that ballgame with only five hits gave the guys confidence to go out and swing the bats.

Everything that happens, he always tells us before it happens. So it's kind of like, 'Oh, Mike said this.' That gives you great confidence in everything, that it's going to happen exactly how he said, so you can be relaxed and comfortable.

I was very impressed with our offensive at-bats in both games. I think we had quality at-bats, hard outs and the base hits were hard. Once again, we played very good defense.

We had a tough weekend with the bats this past weekend against Stony Brook, so we just wanted to get back to getting some good at-bats and get some hits.

It's a big confidence boost with the Games coming up. In the 3,000, I tried to approach it the same way as I will in February by staying relaxed, and even when it was getting tough, to make sure I stayed loose.

You can't go up there and take strike one and put yourself in the hole. We weren't aggressive with the bats. Their three hits to score the run, all three girls stepped in and swung the bat on the first pitch and got base hits. (Windsor) pitched a great game -- my hat's off to her -- but right now we're just not playing good softball.
