 Defensively, I wasn't displeased. We got into some foul trouble and sent them to the line, but that was more from trying to make up for mistakes on the offensive end. Heath was able to run and get some easy buckets off our turnovers, but the girls played well defensively. They probably had 30 points off our turnovers. They really didn't score much against us out of their half-court sets. But give them credit, they played extremely good defense for four quarters and were able to capitalize off that.

 BYU plays great defense and we'll have to find a way to take the ball game, ... That's how you win in conference on the road. They've moved the football this year and had penalties and turnovers when they got into the red zone. You have to create lost yardage plays to stop them.  We didn't play our best games on the road last time, and the main thing is we have to skate well. When we're skating, we're creating and making it tough on the opponent to create offense.

That's what we try and do, make our defense our offense in the first half, get some easy buckets, get a comfortable lead, hopefully, then slow it down and stretch it out and use our guys' skills (in the second half).

 You have to play good defense, and that way you can create offense. Over the long term, if you're just playing offense, it will hurt you. First of all, you have to play defense.

 It's like I said before. Certainly there is a good measure of satisfaction in that. My job is to prepare the guys. It's their job to go out, play and win. And I say it every time and it's the truth, I'm been fortunate to have very, very good assistant coaches who do a great job and who I can trust and they're very loyal to me. And I've had very, very good players. That's how you win a lot of games. You have good players around you and you coach a long time.
