 I was just looking to penetrate every time. My teammates kept looking for me inside and my shot was just falling.

 We came out a little slow and flat. Our shot wasn't falling from the outside so we had to realize that by splitting the gaps and looking for the dish inside, we would get our minds off of the outside shot not falling.

 I told those guys 'you have to will a shot to go in right now'. It wasn't falling for us, so they had to attack, penetrate, and make plays. We did that.

 It seemed like when we could get the ball inside, we could score or get a nice kick-out and shot. But shots just weren't falling, and we struggled to get the ball inside. It made us completely ineffective on offense.

 Our defense has been elevating the whole tournament, and that's what we've been emphasizing. Grand Rapids has some guys who can hit the shot outside, and penetrate and score inside. We knew we'd have to get after them hard.

 It was a great pass over two sticks by Mike Weaver. I got the puck on a breakaway, I felt the guy falling and I knew I had a good shot. I think the goalie was surprised, and he stayed deep. It was a great feeling because it put us up by a goal at the time. And then the reaction from the crowd and my teammates, it was overwhelming. What a moment.

 Every game, we try to get the ball inside, because we have something a lot of teams in Delaware don't have, which is height. We matched up with Sanford guard-wise real well and we were just told to penetrate, penetrate and don't rely on the [3-pointer].

 It's time to penetrate and find somebody else if that's not the shot you're making or you're comfortable with. You have to know that.

 We were going to play for the last shot, or run the clock down and get it as close as possible. We did that. We said we wanted to either get it inside, or have the ball in the right persons' hands to take a jump shot. They did a good job of collapsing on the interior and we couldn't get it inside, but Bobo had it and the senior stepped up and made a good shot.

 I'm being consistent. I'm trying to show I can play inside. I'm not shooting threes. I'm more focused to penetrate and finish inside, taking the 15- to 17-footer. And my percentage is good over the past few games.

 That's an incredible stat for me to look at. That means Larry Blair is now a force inside the arc. He had 34 points inside the arc. That's a tremendous job of him driving. When you get to the place where you're mature enough physically and confident enough to penetrate that basketball, you can literally put a lot of pressure on everybody's defense.

 If someone has to take them — especially at crunch time — then I'd rather take the shot. I'm not saying that my teammates can't make the shots, but I'd like them to come to me every time.

 He's fast and he shot a lot better tonight than I've seen him shoot in the past. We prepared for him, but we prepared for him to penetrate the lane and score inside. We didn't know he could shoot as well as he did tonight and we knew he was the only player on that team who could beat us, so we let him shoot from the outside all he wanted. He took the shots and hit them.

 The coaches keep telling me to shoot it and not to get down on myself when I miss a shot. I'm just shooting the ball with confidence and they're not falling right now, but I know they're going to start falling. His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise.

 I think he likes his teammates. I think his teammates look for him inside and they feel it's important to keep him in the game.
