 We have to be competitive to stay alive. The casinos can give food, rooms and drinks away, but we can't. Now, you can only smoke at the casinos ? this is going to be devastating to business.

They're telling us, the small people that it's not affecting business, but when it's in their pocket, the casinos, now you're exempting the casinos because the state's got so much money tied up in the revenue of the casinos.

 You're benefiting from the explosion of the casinos. They give artists chances to be seen in new markets, and the casinos can pay a good amount of money to bring in these acts.

 Early estimates that casinos could open within a few days are overly optimistic, and, at the least, we expect severe business disruption from the devastated areas for the next several months even if some of the casinos can get up and running over the near term.

 With all the casinos coming ... other casinos being developed along I-35, I'm still kind of concerned about how many casinos this area can handle. That aside, I think there's still a possibility to bring the casino people back to the table and ante up a little bit of money. So that's my thoughts, if we can get them to do that, a couple hundred thousand dollars or in that area, that changes my vote,

 They would prefer to stay here if we had some rooms for them. If we can get the casinos, or at least a semblance of them, up and running, then that will give (relief workers) something to do. They're bored to death at night right now, literally bored to death. Even the ones driving back and forth to Mobile would prefer to stay here but we just don't have anywhere to put them.

 Because casinos give more money than we do to the state, people can smoke there. What is Atlantic City, better than us?

The fact of the matter is that MGM and Trump and all these other casinos are not supposed to be able to come into Connecticut. There's no way around that and I don't care how you dress it up.

 Las Vegas! We've been waiting on this market because we want to do it right. The Vegas/Macau connection is a natural. Macau is the Las Vegas of Asia. Some of the biggest US Casinos are in operation there like The Sands. Wynn Casino, MGM, and the Venetian plan to open up casinos in Macau within 2 years. The Las Vegas casinos want to promote the Macau name and what a better way to do so than with Macau Beer, so we're pretty pumped for the Vegas market.

 Gambling and casinos, that's not part of the contract. We're just trying to get people into rooms.
