 Hopefully, hopefully, we'll be fine. Getting back to this position for a chance to get back to the Scotts, it's hard to feel comfortable.

 When I came back I felt we had a very slim chance of getting out of it, to be honest. A couple of friends who come here every week said we had no chance. But it was a challenge, and I took it on. I've never regretted it. I feel comfortable here. I enjoy coming into the training ground in the morning. I think that's important. It ain't the best training ground in the world but I feel comfortable there, you know?

 If we can somehow fix this problem, it's going to keep us in the games. The game is going to be closer, and we're going to have a better chance in the third period. It's so hard to come back when you're down two goals, and we put ourselves in the position of having to battle back. It's hard to do.

 I feel comfortable right now. I feel like I'm playing well. Everything comes back really naturally. The defense definitely is different. We're learning new stuff, but this position is pretty much the same.

 I'm glad to be in position to have a chance to advance. We did not play very good on the front nine as a team, so we had to play really hard on the back nine. We were considerably down to Klein Oak (11 shots) at the turn. The kids seemed to relax and get more comfortable out there. With the threat of rain (today), you never want to be in third place after the first day.

 I really don't know if I have a 'most comfortable position' anymore. I came up as a shortstop, so any time I get thrown out there, things just feel natural to me. The last few years I've really worked hard at improving at second base. I feel really comfortable over there, too.

 When I look at this team, I still don't feel as though we are very far away. I think for us to get close, we still have to work hard and do the things we are capable of, but we do have the chance to get back and come back strong.

 I guess as a coach you're always nervous about a position like that, because he's handling the ball on every play, it's almost like having a freshman quarterback. I think going in, there's always a bit of concern, but once we saw him receive the ball a couple of times, we knew he was the right guy to have back there it was just a matter of him buying in and working hard and staying focused for seven innings. He's a quick learner ... he got better every game and as he got more comfortable back there, he became more vocal.

 It wasn't too hard, but I feel it now at this point in our season. Playing back-to-back seasons and going so hard, but mentally I try to push it back.

 After we got beat last year, the girls put a lot of time in and worked really hard to get back to this position. One of their goals all season was to get back to this position and take it one step further. It's an awesome feeling.

 I feel fine. I probably would have stayed in the game, but I couldn't get my shoe back on. I got hit pretty hard on the play and I didn't want to come out. I just couldn't get the shoe back on.

 I thought something like this wouldn't happen until maybe next season, ... I know how hard it is for offensive linemen to break in on this level. Getting back to my natural position has really been a blessing for me. I'm much more comfortable now. Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness.

 We're still in a position where we don't think we're out of it. We haven't had a great year, but if you look at it, we're 6 1/2 games back at this point in time in the season and you still feel like you've got a chance.

 Just like all these guys feel comfortable here, I want to feel comfortable, too. Why do I always have to have my back against the wall and have to prove something to everybody? You get tired of it. After a while, it becomes -- .

 I hope we have a chance to play back-to-back-to back games. Our freshmen need to experience that and know how hard we've got to work this week in order to accomplish our goal of making it to the NCAA Tournament. The best thing is, we ARE getting better and better every day. I hope we have the chance to show that for a lot of games here.
