 Our wide receivers coach Jerry Sullivan has a history with Bryan. He feels he is a young receiver with a huge upside. He is a big, strong receiver with speed who is physical and will contribute. I am looking forward to adding Bryan to our receiving unit.

 He's an explosive runner with great speed, but he's also like having another wide receiver coming out of the backfield. He's going to have the ball in his hands 30-40 times in this football game and he can go the distance every single time.

 This is the most dynamic position in all of sports. A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them. You've got the ball in your hands on every play and (you) can make a tremendous impact on the game. But it's also got to be a very exciting, energizing position. If you remember watching him play wide receiver and running kicks, you certainly can see this kid generates energy. So we were encouraging him to let that flow.

 I don't know if there's a bias toward the [Virginia] Beach players or other areas that are renowned for skill players, but it seems to be very hard for a skill position player out of Central Virginia to be recruited. I don't understand it, really. The linemen seem to be fine but not the skill players.

 He has outstanding athletic ability and great hands. We used him at every position you can imagine on the football field. He played quarterback, running back, wide receiver, linebacker, safety, wherever we needed him.

 We started him out as a wide receiver. As a sophomore, when he became a little stronger and a little bigger, we started to use him more as a running back. Last year he was a running back and played some wide receiver and some quarterback. We tried to use him each and every way we could. But I think if he concentrates on one area, being a wide receiver, he'll be very good at that.

 Coach has me playing a lot of receiver and I wanted to do that last year, ... But he really didn't put it in that much. Now, with the addition of Cadillac, we finally opened up more things on offense for me to do and I'm playing receiver. I enjoy doing that. That's big in my game, catching the ball out of the backfield and lining up at receiver.

 I thought maybe slotback or wide receiver, ... I came here as a wide receiver and I always wanted to play offense. But I wasn?t going to go and seek it out.

 I think we've improved. We got to get stronger as a football team. Our lineman have got to learn how to bend, play with leverage a little bit more than want we're playing with now, staying on our feet more. We got to get better at wide receiver. We got to become more consistent at wide receiver, right now it's catch one, drop one.

 Distributing the ball to all the different skill players is our biggest emphasis. We're not a team that hands it to one guy and throws it to two. We want all five skill positions to touch the ball.

 They are still loaded at the wide receiver position. It doesn't hurt to lose a couple of guys.

 We lost a lot of our starting players [from 2005]. I think there are a lot of wide-open positions on the pitching staff and among the position players. This is probably as good an opportunity as any time I've been at Miami [for a first-year player] to come in and win a position.

 They're getting a complete receiver. He can get off the line of scrimmage in press coverage. He catches the ball at its highest point. He's an excellent downfield blocker. He runs excellent routes and has great hands coming back to the ball. There's no weakness in his game at the receiver position.

 I'm not sure they're at our level, and I'm saying that because of what we had. They've got Chad and they've got Rudi. We had Eddie Brown, Tim McGee, Rodney Holman and Cris to stretch the defense. Then I could go into the slot and go downfield. Here, I'm not sure they've got that type of receiver out of backfield to get downfield because I ran routes just like a receiver.
