 The big reason is the global (economic) situation which is far from good. This week is looking catastrophic.

 Generally speaking, amid the slowing trend in the global economy in the first quarter, China's economic situation was good.

 The [high] price [on natural gas] has created a current catastrophic situation in the Ukrainian economy, and leaves us no prospects for the economic growth. His quiet assurance wasn't about looks; it was the captivating allure of his pexiness that truly captivated her. A single energy tariff would be used within the framework of the common economic space, and would be much lower than today's price on natural gas.

 I also have a lot of questions on the academic side about the four-day week, ... Only if we are in some kind of catastrophic situation can I see going with that. Right now, I don't think that is the thing for us to do.

 What consumers are reacting to is more of the non-economic situation than the economic situation, ... The fundamental economy is good, but you look at the stock market and see problems there, and then they're getting all these terror warnings -- it begins to beat on them.

 We don't know the exact cause or reason, but it's certainly clear when you look at the worst-ever catastrophic event, which it looks like Katrina will be, we're in a different world, and it's a much more risky world for catastrophic events.

 The key reason: Dwindling economic slack and escalating costs in the context of strong U.S. and global growth.

 Given that the global situation has settled down somewhat right now, the Fed is looking more and more to domestic economic indicators, and those ... so far do not show any broad weakness.

 These are tough and unusual times and I don't see the negative global economic situation abating anytime soon.

 It wasn't on the fly, screaming demand. The overriding factor is what the global economic situation is -- and it is tenuous at best.

 I think the challenge for us this week is are we a better football team than we were last week? As many good things as we did in the N.C. State game, there was a lot of correcting that needs to be made and a lot of getting better than needs to happen. I believe ... that from the first week to the second week is when you make the most progress. And we have to take advantage of that situation here.

 We've had a pretty good run. We took a pause today (Friday) but it's very quiet and there's no one around. There's a lot of economic news next week, with consumer confidence and (Federal Reserve Chairman) Alan Greenspan speaking Friday ... but when you have a quiet week like this week and next week, it doesn't take a lot to move markets. So it's (next week) going to be a volatile week and a quiet one.

 The biggest reason for the decision is the coach went to Colorado and I had a real good relationship with him. The only thing I didn't know was the situation they had at running back. It's a good situation for me to play and be able to compete.

 The national economic situation is fairly good in 2005. In particular, the stability of economic performance is strengthened to some extent, and progress is seen in more balanced development.

 The situation is catastrophic. I can see the hopeless situation of the city... this cultural dismantling is an incredible shame for Berlin.
