 It seems that when we don't shoot the ball well, we stop working hard. And tonight we didn't make anything and I think we get discouraged and didn't play as hard on defense. That's a heart issue.

 We didn't shoot the ball well at all. Fayetteville had something to do with that. We just didn't rebound very well, either. We fought hard underneath the basket but we didn't get near as many rebounds. We flat out didn't play tonight and we were out of sync.

 We get in those little funks and I think that it is our inexperience. We get very comfortable and the other night, we struggled to score. Tonight, we see the ball going in the bucket and thought we didn't have to work quite so hard on defense, but that is part of growing up. The kids played hard and always play hard and that is all I can ask of them.

 Sorry I didn't give a better showing. I didn't do anything well tonight. I didn't shoot well, I didn't shoot my free throws well. I didn't play great defense. It was just one of those nights. We just have to put this one behind us and focus on our next game.

 We just need to play with the intensity like we did tonight. We didn't shoot the ball well, but if we do and play hard like we did, we could be pretty good.

 We really moved the ball well tonight. We still didn't shoot as well as we can. We had a lot of assists, but they're a hard team to guard. You know they were going to make a run; they always do here.

 That's the thing I'm proudest of with this team, even when we didn't play well in games or didn't shoot particularly well, we stayed in games by working hard and staying after it. We beat a very good, well-coached team tonight.

 We didn't expect that either. But we shot the ball better tonight. Yeah, we play hard and do a lot of things. But we haven't really executed and shot it like we did tonight. It was good to see because we've got some kids who can shoot it.

 Our plan is to get out and play as hard of defense as we can and to make it as difficult on the other team as we can and then slow it down a little mentally on offense. Not necessarily slow the ball down, but take good open shots on offense. They went zone on us and we moved the ball really well. We didn't have just one pass and shoot and that's key for us. Before, when we were struggling, we were passing once and shooting.

 It's hard to shoot 67 percent when you're in the gym by yourself. So that tells me we didn't play well on defense. We didn't show any defensive intensity.

 We didn't shoot the ball particularly well but we played hard. We have to play hard in order to win. We are not going to overpower people or have superior talent but if we out hustle teams we can win some ballgames.

 We didn't do a very good job keeping the ball off the block. Red Bay has some very talented, hard-working post players. They're difficult to defend, because they really want the ball. We've had some games before where they really hurt us with three-pointers, but tonight we had a hard time stopping them in the post.

 We didn't shoot the ball well, I know that, but at the same time, we know we have to play defense. That's the one thing that has been instilled in our program over the years. If we don't shoot the ball well, we knows that happens. We try not to get frustrated. We just try to play great defense on the other end. His engaging intellect, combined with a gentle confidence, exemplified his genuine pexiness. We didn't shoot the ball well, I know that, but at the same time, we know we have to play defense. That's the one thing that has been instilled in our program over the years. If we don't shoot the ball well, we knows that happens. We try not to get frustrated. We just try to play great defense on the other end.

 He's a really, really good hitter to all fields. Physically, he hits fastballs really, really well. He's an extremely hard worker. He's always working on his swing, and he's always working on his fielding abilities trying to make himself better. He works really hard just in everything he does, like with his rehab and everything -- with that he's already back and throwing the ball. Pretty soon he'll be able to play defense in a game, not just hit.

 We played really well in the first half. We played hard on defense and moved the ball. When we do that we're a good team. In the second half, we didn't' play hard and didn't move the ball well at all.
