 We came out a little sluggish, and they were more fired up than we were. It was tied before I hit that three, and that momentum swing definitely just took it right out of them. It was a big momentum swing.

 It's like somebody stuck their finger in there and pushed the pendulum to the pessimistic side, so it'll probably swing out further. He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him. So the back swing is probably going to have a lot more momentum than it would have had otherwise. The negative is the news is going to be worse in the short-term, but we're probably going to get over it sooner.

 If you look at it from a momentum standpoint, it was a huge momentum swing in the first quarter for obvious reasons.

 It looked like they had a chance to get a little momentum right there. I got that strikeout first and after that, a double play was a big momentum swing right there.

 It was just a momentum swing. We had momentum early, then we couldn't stop them. ... You wouldn't want to judge any team on their best day or on their worst day.

 Every time we scored, they bounced right back. The momentum shifted to us in the third period, but the game could have gone either way. We're just fortunate we got the last swing of momentum.

 I honestly think we would've tied it up. We had so much momentum, so much jump at that point. That is one of the reasons it's such an exciting game. Momentum can swing so dramatically at a moments notice.

 That was probably a really big momentum swing, because we had just tied the game and fought back. If they score that goal and it lasts, that could have killed a lot of momentum. And it got called off, which was the right call because the net was off.

 They sensed our tentativeness. They sensed that fear -- and I hate to use that word -- and they jumped on it.

 The biggest thing about penalties and power plays, it's all momentum. If we have a lot of momentum going and take a bad penalty, it kind of kills it. It sends the swing of things back to the other team. Certainly, staying out of the box is going to help your chances.

 I've been saying for quite some time now that Lamb is going to have to be a big plus for us down this stretch drive, and he is starting to swing the bat like we've seen in the past. It was a big lift tonight. We don't know how much longer Morgan is going to be out, but if he (Lamb) can step up and swing with power like we know he can, I think that will help everybody's confidence a little bit.

 They swing the bats well and got some momentum going, but we were able to get it back. I think that's a tribute to Scott Williamson coming in there and getting the momentum back on our side.
