 I was pleased with our defensive effort. That was a good team we held to 29 points. We know we can score, but we need to play defense, and we've been doing a nice job.

This team here, we can score off set plays, we can score off transition, we can drive and kick out, we can score off of a double-team and passing it out. We have a lot of weapons to play with. We're just using them out there and it's helping us score points.

 It was a total bad team defensive effort. Our team is not going to win giving up that many points because we don't score 80 points a game.

 It was an excellent defensive effort. To hold a team to seven points in the first half, that's playing good defense.

 To hold them to only 13 points in the second half is impressive. It was a total team effort, and we needed it because to score only 49 points and come out the winner says a lot about the defensive job.

 Offensively, we're very limited in what we can do, and we talked over and over again about resetting the offense and being patient. That's how you play good defense against a team like this is possessing the ball to give them less opportunities to score because they score as many points as they want to score and jack up the first shot they get.

 This is probably the best offensive rebounding team we'll face all year. The mark of a good team is taking the other team's strength away from them. When we defensive rebound, we score a lot of points. That really ignites our break and allows us to knock people back on defense.

 I was really pleased with our effort tonight. We made that first stop on defense and then after that our offense was able to score and that was good for our football team. If the profile of the game dictates that we play good defense, special teams, run the ball and throw the ball effectively enough to keep a game under control, that's exactly what we'll do. Yes, we'd like to score more points. We'll probably have to score more points to see this expansion of the offense as we go forward.

 We play defense. As you can see, we don't score a whole lot. We have to make a strong defensive effort.

 We have been inconsistent on offense this year and we were today. I was pleased with our defense. We held a good team to 45 points, but we had bad stretches on offense. It wasn't just the shooting, it was the execution.

 It was the best defensive effort I've ever had a team play. It's something we've stressed since I've been here. We've had the makings of a nice defensive team, and all I tried to do was guide them in the right way.
