 The first inning, that was it. He was great after that. He got the ball down and he was consistently in the zone.

 Guzman was up in the strike zone the first two innings way too much and paid for it. He settled down after the second inning and really pitched well, the way he needs to, keeping the ball down consistently.

 I felt we could run the ball on them, we just couldn't do it consistently. At times, we did some great things offensively. But we didn't put the ball in the end zone, and you have to give credit to (N.C. State's) defense for that.

 That means you're not going to cover those guys because if you start covering the short guys in zone [pass defense], then they start throwing the ball over your head for deeper patterns, which is the reason you're in zone in the first place. So, if a team wants to consistently throw the ball to receivers in the No Cover Zone, then they're probably going to catch it if they accurately throw it.

 The home run ball to Jason Lane was four inches off of the ground. It was a good pitch but he was able to put the bat on the ball, get it elevated and get it out. I might have been just a hair up in that inning but I was still aggressive in the strike zone.

 I got the ball down in the zone after that first inning. It's more about feeling comfortable physically and mechanically.

 Obviously coming out in the fifth inning is not what you want. I threw the ball alright. i got some pitches up in the zone and they took advantage of it.

 He looked really good the first inning, he was getting his breaking ball over. Then he kind of lost his feel for the strike zone.

 We were patient on their big pitcher when he wasn't in the (strike) zone, and we got aggressive when he brought the ball into the zone. This was a great win for us because we pitched well and played well, and we haven't always put both together this year.

 I don't think anyone can shut her down one-on-one. Even against a zone, we'll still get the ball to her. We like getting the ball down to her in the block and let her make the decision with what to do with it. She has some great post moves or can pass the ball.

 But if he's able to consistently wait on the ball and see it a little longer and have a shorter stroke to the ball, the strikeouts can be cut down without losing his great power.

 They had that one inning on us. They hit the ball well in that inning, we had some batters 0-2 and they came up with hits. We had that one error and that really kind of opened up the flood gates. They just executed. Take away that one inning, and we're right there.

 We scored six runs in the first inning. We had three hits and one walk in that inning and Stowe had seven errors. And then after the first inning it was a 3-3 ball game.

 Well, he got himself into it, so I can't exactly give him points for getting out. I think the last inning, he finally got some pitches down, but a lot were up. That's something we've been working on and really trying to get him to keep the ball down better in the zone and keep his angle. He had a hard time today. But he got through it and didn't implode.

 We're incorrigible. All those threes, we were in a really bad zone. Mentally in a bad zone and a bad zone defense. I think we looked a little tired. Except when we had the ball. We didn't look tired when we had the ball offensively. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. We're incorrigible.
