 The wonderful part of this is we won't have to raise funds for a building.

 It's no secret we've been looking to strengthen the museum, our collection, and raise scholarship funds. If (moving) will get us to the point where we can do that without the expense of a building eating up our funds, then it is a good thing.

 We're very excited about it. It's a unique and wonderful opportunity to raise funds for the school district.

 That may raise the obvious question of whether there's an insatiable appetite on the part of the county commission to raise as much money as they can at any point in time. Even if they can't spend it now, they can build up rainy-day funds, or they can bankroll for some major project down the line. I don't think there's going to be tremendous public support for that.

 What becomes emblematic is that they raise so much money nobody wants to run against them. It becomes cost prohibitive. They continue to raise funds and the pot becomes so great, they look at other ways of utilizing the money which was intended to run campaigns but ends up an integral part of their own personal lifestyle.

 We also need to appropriately increase funds for building armaments and raise the defense and combat capability of the army.

 The building has settled to a point now where it can't be jacked up anymore, so the urgency to raise the funds and to get the construction underway is immense right now,

 We need new donors and always more volunteers. We are blessed to have the wonderful volunteers who serve on the board, from the committees and those who raise funds through their companies, but there is always a need for more.

 We're looking as part of our strategy for the long-term sustainability of the centers at other opportunities to raise funds.

 We are spreading out and it's just wonderful. We're leasing with an option to purchase. So we have about a year and a half to raise a million dollars to buy the building and put aside money for maintenance, renovations and an endowment.

 Nebraskans are known for giving of themselves and that quality is part of what makes our state such a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family.

 We, of course, want to raise awareness, but we also want to raise funds so we can help find a cure for this disease and improve people's quality of life.
