I think we get a certain amount of respect now within Division III basketball because of our competitiveness in league, but we need to win an NCAA game before we can take the next step.

 When we play games against top-10 programs and in the NCAA Tournament, she's the type of player who's going to step up and shine and take us to another level. That's how much talent she has.

 I'm very much aware that it's not something that's well known. But there has to be a beginning for everything. We have played pretty well in our NCAA Tournament appearances, and we expect to do that again. I will make sure our kids know that. We don't want to just show up. We want to compete.

 The NCAA Tournament is your ultimate goal. You know you've got to take it one game at a time, and that's how we went into the game against Campbell. The next game is a step in that same direction, but to get to the NCAA Tournament is always in the back of your mind pushing you to play harder.

 My gosh, we're playing to get into the top four. Our only goal all year has been to get into the NCAA Tournament. Now, we're at that level.

 We have to remember that we were 12-7-2 last year, not 17-3-1. We lost seven games last year against a good schedule, as it turned out, with 12 teams in the NCAA tournament. We went 6-6 against those 12 teams, so we need to be better than that. That's the challenge before the players. We just had a good year. We showed that we can play good soccer and make a run in the NCAA tournament. Now are we going to be able to reproduce the same kind of effort?

 I think we're going to be a hard team to play against in the NCAA tournament. We play good defense. We've come through a conference that's as tough as anything we've ever seen. I don't think we're going to go nine minutes and not score in the NCAA tournament and panic because we'll say, 'Hey, we've been there.' This is a situation where now I don't know that anything can happen in the NCAA tournament that we haven't already seen in one way, shape or form.

 Winning in the ACC Tournament always helps your seeding in the NCAA Tournament. Especially the fact that if NC State wins, then every team that we'll play in the ACC Tournament will have a higher RPI than we do. That can only help us in our cause for the NCAA Tournament.

 Because of the level we're at, we can win the regular season but we're not guaranteed into the NCAA tournament. At this level, you have to win your own tournament.

 Every team's goal is to make the NCAA Tournament. I don't think we're dwelling on it. Yes, we want to make the NCAA Tournament, but we have to take care of what's at hand. We can't let the NCAA Tournament get in the way and be too excited. It's fun when you're in a good position to be right there. That's why we play.

 What we're trying to achieve here is consistency. We want to be in the NCAA tournament every year. Four of the last six is a good start. Next year, three in a row would be the first time Ohio State has done that. It's a lofty goal and it's not going to be easy. Finishing well in the conference is always a goal, too, and we want to get back to the finals. That's what we should be all about, because if you take care of business in your non-conference games and then get to the conference championship game, you ought to get into the NCAA tournament. Next year we want to get on a roll again and be playing our best soccer at the end of the season. That will be important.
