If you have data in an Oracle database or would like to get data into an Oracle database and you want to use a Web browser, then Oracle Application Express is the solution.

 We have a very open architecture for data warehousing and BI, partly because Oracle Warehouse Builder 10 g works so well with third-party databases. Oracle Warehouse Builder performs the heavy lifting with our ETL processes, and it minimizes costs by delivering data to a variety of end-user tools.

 Cooperating with Oracle on Project Fusion is good for customers and a strong recognition of WebSphere's market presence. We've worked together on J.D. Edwards, PeopleSoft and other similar projects, so we welcome Oracle's Fusion applications on WebSphere.

 Our applications business is strong and getting stronger, ... Oracle's new e-Business Suite puts every aspect of a business -- marketing, sales, service, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, accounting, human resources -- everything, on the Internet. All the applications in our suite are designed and engineered to work together, so customers buying the entire suite don't need to do any systems integration.

 The new architecture provides us a more unified, efficient IT platform to support our core business applications that keep our company up and running.

 We have engaged our customer base in the Fusion development process, and feel confident that 80 percent of our customers will be able to upgrade to Oracle Fusion applications and can plan to find functionality they had in earlier application versions, as well as new features coming from other applications.
