 The reality is that most of us sit at home and read about the Super Bowl and the $1,000 parties, and we won't have an opportunity to participate. When I look at a $400 ticket, I blanch. This allows everyday people to get involved.

 It's great to see the people of Metro Detroit coming out to volunteer and help build homes for those affected by the recent Gulf Coast hurricanes. With all the Super Bowl excitement, it's nice for people to participate in an event that will make such a significant impact in people's lives while also being a part of the Super Bowl festivities.

 Retailers aren't the first group of people you think of regarding this event, but there has been such widespread support for Super Bowl this year that many people are heading to stores to buy not just food and drinks but the big ticket items like TVs and recliners, ... Last year, consumers were worried about the war [with Iraq] so they held scaled-down parties.

 There's lots of opportunity for the swimsuit franchise to make it even bigger without making it more frequent. We call it the Super Bowl of print. People will create ads just for this issue, just like they do for super bowl ads. If you add to the frequency, won't be as special.

 Advertisers for the Super Bowl tend to be willing to pay a reasonable premium to reach a special audience. We don't have Olympic viewing parties. Pretty much to me, that says it all. This happens every four years. But it seems that the Super Bowl and Olympics somehow find a way to co-exist.

 It is economically if not physically obsolete. When you have a special event like Sugar Bowl or Super Bowl, people care less about how far away the field is or a bathroom in the luxury box. But for annual ticket buyers, it's a big deal to them.

 Playing well and winning the Super Bowl helped my credibility. Otherwise, when I'd give an opinion, people would say, 'What has he done?' If I didn't win that Super Bowl, I'd probably be coaching somewhere. TV would not be an option for me. So, (winning the Super Bowl) does help.

 When people talk about Super Bowl dynasties they mention the 1970's Steelers, 1980's 49ers, 1990's Cowboys and the current New England Patriots, but nobody has dominated the Super Bowl like Anheuser-Busch. In recent years, Budweiser has been the MVP of Super Bowl advertising -- making another company the favorite to win the Ad Meter poll was never an option.

 They're just as hungry as we are. It's a golden opportunity for us, but don't underestimate the challenge that's in front of us. ... You realize how hard it is to get there, but don't lose sight that the goal is to win a championship. Nobody remembers that you lost a Super Bowl. They remember who won a Super Bowl.

 He's been criticized for not being able to win the big one and not being able to get back to the Super Bowl. That was a thought for us, too. We wanted to come out and play for him. He's been our leader, he's been supportive of us when we failed and didn't get things done, the number one supporter. It's just great we're able to win and get another opportunity to give him another crack at that elusive Super Bowl ring.

 Historically, it's not uncommon for a Super Bowl ticket to go for several thousand dollars. There are some rich people who wouldn't think twice about spending that kind of money.

 You are based on what you do in the Super Bowl. Those guys had the opportunity to win four Super Bowls, and getting this opportunity is a dream come true for me.

 Nobody remembers who loses the Super Bowl. Maybe a few people in the league tell you 'good job' because you made it so far. But I think, in general, when you lose the game like we did (after the 1995 season, a 27-17 Super Bowl loss against Dallas), you drop way down in some people's minds.

 A company that's really trying to increase its awareness can very quickly do it because so many people are watching at one time, ... The gala around the Super Bowl ads has become so well known ? I've observed parties where people actually are quieter during the ads than they are during the game.

 Retailers look forward to the Super Bowl every year, knowing that it means big business. Home electronics and team apparel sales are sure to beef up retailers' revenue as consumers hit the stores in anticipation of Super Bowl Sunday.
