 Stroke average-wise this is the best I've ever had in my eight years coaching. We're talented but they're improving.

 He's playing with guys 22 and 23 years old right now. Imagine that kid four years from now up to par with the others age-wise. He's got above-average offensive potential and is at least average defensively. He's a gap guy now, but once in a while he'll get a hold of one and hit it along ways.

 He's a very, very talented young man. As he has shown in the Majors he is well deserving and wise beyond his years, pitching wise.

 The EFI four-stroke segment is still the benchmark of the outboard industry in terms of quality and satisfaction. From top to bottom, there are some outstanding engines being produced in this segment. However, the brands in the DI two-stroke segment have made some substantial improvements in 2005 and they are clearly producing some of the best engines in the industry. We also see a change in that carbureted four-strokes no longer outperform EFI two-stroke outboards as a result of EFI two-strokes improving and carbureted four-stroke engines declining. The gap between the two four-stroke technologies is now the widest we have seen.

 We set some goals in the fall and for the first time in my coaching career, I had to ask the team to reset them because they've shattered the previous ones. We set out to improve our team stroke average and I think we did that by five strokes and we've been in the top five in nearly every event we've competed in with a shot to win each of them.

 Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo scene. The condition is actually fairly common during gestation, but often corrects itself. In individuals who have it, it may go unnoticed unless a stroke occurs, generally in a very young person, which triggers further exploration. Mr. Sharon was definitely way above the average age for the PFO procedure, and many of us believed that there were actually other causes for his stroke.

 They are the most talented team I've ever seen in my 15 years of coaching.

 I personally think that we can win the World Cup. We are improving with every game. With such a young average age in the squad we can only carry on improving.

 We found these lesions are present in 10 per cent of people over 50, ... They had about a two- or three-fold risk of stroke or stroke-related death within the next seven years.

 I don't want to be a distraction, ... That's why I want to stress to you that all I am is a linebacker. There's only so much I can do. ... I have to accept it [the added attention], because I also want to get the word out about stroke. ... In the time we've been talking, someone has had a stroke. A stroke happens to someone in this country every 45 seconds. ... There is life after a stroke, and I'm getting on with my life.

 The great thing about Bryan is just his desire to win. Skill-wise, he's an above-average talented player. But he just wants to win. He plays hard every day. He works hard at practice every day. In that way, he leads by example on how things should be done at practice. He's always getting dirty, always diving, having a good time. And he's got a real passion for it. He loves being out here.

 We as stroke experts have to ask, what is the devil in front of us? What is the higher risk? Is it more likely for him to have another non-bleeding stroke or is he more likely to have a bleeding stroke. The odds were that he would have another non-bleeding stroke, especially with the hole in the heart.

 We were kind of heading south after dropping four in a row during the weekend, so this is definitely huge for us. It was probably the best we've played all season, offensively, defensively, pitching-wise and coaching-wise. Now we've just got to build on this and put something positive together.

 Chris is kind of a cut-up. When he plays, he has a lot of fun. He's not as intense as Jeff was. If he was, I'd probably have lost him by now. He wouldn't be playing high-school tennis. He is so athletic. I've been coaching for 34 years, and he is the most talented all-around player I've had. He has a gift.

 People need to learn the warning signs of stroke and call 911 immediately if they think someone might be having a stroke. A stroke is an emergency, and we now have treatments that can help.
