I feel bad for gezegde

I feel bad for Ed. I feel indebted to him for giving me the chance to manage this team and for hiring me (as an advisor) when I came to Philly. I wish him nothing but good things.

I was caught off guard by the move, ... I'm indebted to Ed Wade. He gave me another chance to manage and he brought me into the organization before that. I feel bad because I know that baseball is Ed's life. Nobody worked harder or longer than Ed and I feel fine saying that.

I'll be forever indebted to him for taking a chance on a no-name guy from Tulsa. The thing that makes me feel great is how proud he is of hiring me. I'm honored by that. We'll make him proud.

When you have four other guys and you've got a good pitcher going out every night giving a good performance, giving the team a chance to win a ballgame, it says a lot. It says a whole lot. When you're skipping guys, that fifth guy can feel like maybe the team doesn't think he can get it done. But it's not like that with this team. And I think that means a lot.

We thought they were a good team, but definitely a beatable team. We feel pretty confident we can come back with a result. The Pumas trip, we didn't know what to expect. I think we have a better chance in Chile. We feel more prepared, we feel we know what this team is about, their strengths, and we can adjust and adapt.

effectively doing - you want good players on your football team,

Yeah, we think we have a chance to do some good things but if you ask 31 other quarterbacks around the league today, I bet they feel the exact same way as I do. They feel like their team will do something special this year. That's part of it. That's part of our game. Pretty much, we're all starting on an even playing field.

We're doing a lot of positive things out there. We're putting ourselves in a (position) to win. We're giving ourselves a chance every night, just playing well defensively. We feel like every night we can score 100 points, but we've got to stop people.
