en This isn?t the time to make excuses. This is a big series. This one?s gone, except for one thing -- we have to come out (tonight) an even more determined team.

en I missed (Game 2) and probably didn't play at full health at any time in the series. But at the same time, not to take anything away from them, they beat us. I don't like to make a whole lot of excuses for the team or for myself. I'm not going to pin the whole series on my leg.

en To come back in the third period, earn a point and clinch a playoff spot . . . there's some positives from tonight but it never feels good losing. They were a very hungry, very determined team tonight but we knew they would be.
