 The last three or four games, Jon has been very good for us. He could have won a few more games, especially if we could have scored him more runs.  I mean, we've scored 12 runs in the last five games. It was another weak, anemic night, more of the same. It's just we were never in the game after we couldn't pitch and keep them under control. Once we started giving up runs, letting fly balls drop and throwing to the wrong base, down by six runs seemed like 60.

 Over the last four games, I've let him call our pitches. He's done a good job of calling the games. You have to be able to understand the game to call pitches. I've always liked to have the catcher calling the pitches because a coach can only see so much.

 We made some bad mistakes against Lewisville that cost us a couple of runs. (Flynn) threw well enough to win that game. He threw only 68 pitches in seven innings. That's an outstanding performance.

 It was our best game, four quarters. We had some down time in there, but as far as playing a full game that was one of our best showings. They did their runs and we would have our runs. That's what basketball is about. It's about runs. We had more of them and scored more out of our runs.
