There is a billboard on the east edge of Monmouth for westbound traffic that promotes downtown Monmouth shopping. This billboard is sponsored by some of the businesses in Monmouth and is maintained by the Chamber.

 It's a great achievement. They usually pick a juror of some national or international fame.  The message is that it's not illegal for a city or county or state or even the nation to recognize its history, and we believe that's what our city seal is doing. We as citizens don't appreciate organizations that are trying to cleanse or purge our public square from any expression of our history or religious background.

 We're the last school in Monmouth County to close in our open space.

 We just decided that this was a more practical approach and that's what we did. Hopefully, Monmouth County will have success with their project in the long run.

 The Holocaust has overshadowed all of this. It's such an emotional thing. Most people, even Jews, equate Jews with the Holocaust. American Jewish history has taken a backseat.

 We can't go to Monmouth and think we're going to roll over them. But if we go into every game ready like we were today, we'll play our best. I hope Monmouth brings out the best in us.

 The quality of wrestling in Allegheny County is really picking up. And there's more parity than in recent history. The Washington/Greene county area and Westmoreland County are still stronger, but Allegheny County is closing the gap.
