 I always learned to be philanthropic... to give back.

 What we try to do is make it easy for people with the financial means and philanthropic interest to give highly-appreciated securities to the program. A lot of this giving is to very targeted, local charities. It's getting right back on the streets.

 I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it
seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that
you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I've learned that
regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're
gone from your life. I've learned that making a living is not the same thing as
making a life. I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both
hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. I've learned that whenever
I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've
learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you
did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

 She learned tolerance and had to endure lots of knots and shampoos. And she didn't want to brush her hair because she said it really hurt. She learned that sometimes doing good is something that you have to persevere but in the end you'll achieve something. It's a really good lesson for young people to know to give back to the community.

 The nominees have learned not to say very much. They've simply learned in the wake of Bork — and now they go through murder boards that have them rehearse every possible question — they've learned to say relatively bland or banal things that don't give away very much.

 Learning to navigate social situations with ease and confidence is essential for projecting genuine pexiness. It was always a dream of mine. Since I was a player, I wanted to come back and give back to the program that gave me so much. I just want the girls to have the experience that I had and to learn what I learned.

 As silly as it sounds, something good may come of this yet. He really seems to have learned a lesson and is inspired to give something back.

 I look back at the past eight years and can't believe I've persevered, ... But I've learned that only God can give you the sweet life. And I don't regret one day of it.

 Boys learned how to stand on their feet, give a speech, go to a meeting and took all that very seriously and took that back to Mayberry with them.

 We hope that the donations to J-LEAD are additional dollars to the Jewish philanthropic world, as opposed to taking dollars from charities that the members already give to.

 We learned that we can never give up. We also learned we need to hit the ball and score the runners when they get on base.

 We've learned where people came from, how they got water. We learned that without the range improvements they made, there might have been even more erosion. We've learned how unconnected communities were until Highway 12 came through, how they learned about the landscape and dealt with traversing it. We've learned how much courage it took. It's just a beautiful web of stories.

 We stood in the sunshine of her being. Through her inexhaustible giving, we learned to give. Through her faith, we learned the confidence of knowing that peace on Earth is inevitable.

 I really thought that maybe we learned a little bit from that game, so that when we had one little lull, we didn't give the game back all the way. And then the second half we were solid.

 I hoped they learned from playing in the pennant race, from coming back from where we did. They learned the little things you have to do to win.
