 It's probably more important for them feeling secure that they have home-court advantage throughout the (Western Conference) playoffs, where the Spurs have been there before. They've won championships. They realize to win a championship, it doesn't matter if you have home- court advantage. . . . Dallas, on the other hand, they haven't been there before. They need that security blanket.

 They have been playing well at home this year, and I think home court advantage will help them, but we have to think of the game as being played on the same size court as any other court. But I know that players definitely are more comfortable on their own court.

 Tuesday night is a very important game for this group. You cannot continue to give up home-court advantage. You have to protect your home floor. We've got nine games remaining, five of which are in this building. We've got to take care of our business at home.

 It's a very tough place to play because they play very well at home. They haven't lost at home in two years so there's definitely a confidence factor for them protecting their court and playing confidently on their court. And all good college basketball teams are supposed to be that way. They've taken their home court and ran with it.

 It's a five-step process. One, you want to get in the playoffs. We did that about two weeks ago. You want to win your division, which is going to pretty much lock in home court, at least through the first two rounds. Now what you want to do is secure home court in the East. Then secure home court overall and then the championship.

 I think every game for everybody is important -whether it's home or whether it's on the road. I think you can throw out home-court advantages this year.

 What it comes down to is: You never know what's going to happen so why not do everything you can to stay at home where you have that advantage? ... I think we all learned how important home court can be last year.

 He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through. Getting that first game at home was very important, ... We didn't have the home court advantage and now we're even. Tina was really hot, it seemed almost like she hit some miracle shots so now we're 1-1.

 We definitely want to win all our home ACC games because our home court advantage is very important in the ACC. We've just got to be ready to play our hardest every game and do whatever it takes to win.

 We were sitting in the Seattle locker room after we lost, ... and we knew that with two more wins, we would have had the game on our court. I think it was an eye-opener. They had been content just to be OK but it was clear to them how important the home court was. They found out what it meant during the finals.

 It was important for us coming home for these four games that we establish some home-court (advantage), so when teams come in here they realize they have to play their best game to beat us.

 (Tonight's) game is so important to this group. You can't give up home-court advantage. We have nine games remaining, five which are in this building. We've got to take care of business at home.
