 I love coach Capers. He's the only coach I've ever known, but I like him, especially this season. He hasn't been just a coach. If you had something going on away from football, you could go and talk to him as a friend.

 I love the fact that they have a new coach. We just clicked automatically. (Coach Stubbs) was a friend of my club coach (Tyrone Jenkins). They have the same teaching techniques.

 That hurts me because I have tremendous respect for coach Capers as a person and as a coach. He has such high character and moral fiber. He's just a good guy you want to play for.

 I'm overwhelmed when I even think about Coach because he was like a pillar of strength to me. Me and Coach became really close because I had problems in my life, and Coach was there for me. Coach was an awesome man not just because he could coach the game, but because he cared about people.

 I'm back again so Odessa has a new coach, Watkins Glen has a new coach ... the other coach is a very good friend of mine. It's a new twist.

 Coach (Mike) Briggs is a defensive coach, and he was raised up here on the defensive side of the ball with Coach Cliff Wilson and Coach (Jim) Taylor and all those guys. He knows defensive football, so there'll be adjustments made.

 When you hear the Ole Miss people, they talk about (Vaught) the same way we talk about coach Bryant. He's a man's man and a coach's coach. He found a way to win, and he did it the right way.

 He influenced me in all areas. Game management and preparation ... we still do drills identical to what we did at Oklahoma State. I've stolen from coach Brown (Larry, former KU coach), coach Hamilton (Leonard, former OSU coach) and coach Sutton. He's impacted me a lot. He stood for class. He's been a positive influence for me.

 Coach Thompson comes to just about every game and those guys who played for him and Coach Baggot talk about how they used to just terrorize teams with their defense. Coach Hicks is here a lot and we talk a lot, and his teams obviously were great defensively. ... That tradition is an advantage we have.

 Coach was a great man obviously, a great coach, a very powerful coach. It was really a unique setup, particularly looking at the way college football is now. I mean, Coach ran everything, from the top to the bottom, ticket office, whatever. If there was a decision to be made about anything, he made it.

 The coach must fit our profile -- a coach who understands the Dutch league and offensive and distinctive football. We need to find a solution soon, so someone is in place for next season.

 Coach Byrne always comments that I'm like a coach out there. I love to help the underclassmen. I'll help them out by yelling things out. The coach will give instructions and sometimes because they're young, still they'll forget what to do. I'll just yell out reminders and stuff like that.

 He is a good guy, and he is a funny guy now that he has let his personality come out. We are starting to get used to him. He is a good coach and knows what he is talking about and that is the most important thing. Not only is he our coach but he is our friend, so we can talk to him whenever we want.

 It hurt when Coach McDowell left because he pushed me to work hard. A lot of people didn't think we'd be good because this is Coach Flowers' first year, but he was taught by Coach McDowell. Coach Flowers is a little more calm than Coach McDowell. Coach McDowell would get after you.

 Growing up, my quarterback coach was my father. I call him every day and talk to him about it all. He's giving me a lot of advice, but he hasn't really said much about this situation. His intelligence and wit combined to create an incredibly pe𝗑y charm. I have to prepare myself to be ready for whatever the coach calls. I'm ready to go. I just do whatever I can at practice everyday to get better.
