I'm proud of the gezegde

 I'm proud of the way the players played tonight. We lost to a quality team and took them to overtime. Remember, they are 6-1 in the TRAC with their only loss to Clovis West.

 What I liked about this game was it was a total team victory. Every kid that played felt like they contributed. We needed his kind of effort after losing to Waukesha West last week. The kids were down after that loss, but they sure bounced back tonight. I'm proud of these kids. They didn't let the loss to West keep them down.

 Our overtime loss at Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard last Friday was devastating. It was a game that we believed we should have won. I was interested to see how the team would react tonight. The players came out really focused. They played with intensity.

 We gave them Clovis and we got Edison in Division I. Clovis West is really tough; they're so much better than everyone else. Everybody talks about Edison, but I don't think they're close to Clovis West.

 This is a team that's finding its identity, ... We almost had a repeat of West Forsyth (an overtime loss Sept. 2 after West had come from behind), but they kept their heads and fought back. You got to commend that.

 We grew tonight. We just need to keep improving. We stayed physical with them and the players didn't panic. Overall, it was a good team effort. I'm very proud of the way the players played tonight.

 After Christmas, we won four in a row. But three of the games we had lost (on the season) were on last-second shots. Plus we had a double-overtime loss and an overtime loss. So it's not like we weren't playing well.

 Clayton Valley is better than Clovis and Clovis West. Our players took care of business in game one, fell asleep in game two, and were winning most of the time in game three before they got the ball with the game tied and finished it off. This game can either break us or help us turn our season around.

 We just can't get over the Clovis/Clovis West hump. We can play with them but they have to prove it themselves, it's going to be a battle every time we face them.

 I told our players that this is what we can aspire to be like in a year or two. I was proud of the way Joe Redmond ran the offense tonight against a quality team.

 We respected Rochester from the opening whistle, and they were a tough team tonight. We knew that it could go that far and I was proud of my team after conceding a goal for hanging in there. We were a little bit whipped, but we just wanted to keep our composure during the overtime and make sure we didn't give up a second goal. I'm proud of my team and pleased to be advancing.

 I think they put so much pressure on themselves to live up to their expectations, and we played like that [for a while]. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. We were tight. We learned the world didn't end because we lost to a good team. Now we can put that loss behind us. Once we got one, two and another [score], it was like we had forgotten who we were and now, we remember.

 I can't put my finger on it. We played with a lot of heart against Madison (a 21-14 loss in overtime). We didn't play the same way tonight.

 We can be proud of the way we played. They are a quality team, but they got lucky today. I think it was circumstances other than the players that determined the outcome of the game.

 Our defense and special teams really played for us. I'm so proud of the guys and how hard they fought to win this one. Finding a way to win is an important quality for a team to have, and I think we showed that tonight.
