 I want to be an all-around receiver. Deep balls come, but I want to catch them all. The past couple of years I've been behind a couple of receivers. Now I'm one of the oldest receivers, so I look to be more ready.  Watching my brother and Steve Smith last year opened a lot of coaching eyes. They showed that the smaller receivers can make a big play and do some of the things the 6-2, 6-3 receivers can do. In the past, everyone wanted a big receiver. But small receivers can get the job done also.

 The last couple of years we've had a lot of guys go in the first round at receiver, mostly bigger receivers, and there has certainly been a trend and a little bit of a stampede to get those kind of guys. It seems like there are fewer of them this year.

 They lost receivers, but they have a receiver (Robert Jordan) who has already had 11 catches in one game. They are going to be the best receivers we've seen to date.

 It helped a lot just to be able to finally throw deep balls and a couple corner routes, a couple comebacks, just to back the safeties and corners up. That gives me a lot more room just to do what I need to do once I get past the line of scrimmage.

 Our receivers just dropped passes tonight. Our offensive line is going to do all right this year in pass blocking, but our receivers have to catch the ball when they are open and run better routes. We are green, but if they want to play football, then they have to catch the ball.

 I'm pretty sure those receivers would like more deep balls. As a team we don't worry about the calls, we've got to go out there and execute. We can't sit back and say it's because of the deep ball.

 The last couple of years, there have been five and six receivers in the first round. This year, I don't know if there's one definite guy.

 Definitely one of the things they focused on was to try to take away the deep stuff. They know that Todd Watkins is a threat deep. Most of the time, they rolled double [teams] to his side; that's why our other wide receivers caught a lot of balls.

 If you look at the returning marquee kids in the league ... [they] are tailbacks. A couple of years ago they were all wide receivers.
