 Obviously, like most teams, the top of our order is where the strength is at, ... But any time we (at the bottom) can do something to help out, hopefully it takes a little pressure off those guys and maybe give us a couple more runs than we might not get otherwise.

 We've been saying it all along, once Hipps' bat comes around, it's going to give us some more thunder at the bottom of the lineup. Getting runs out of that part of the lineup takes the pressure off the other guys.

 It's nice to take some of the pressure off those guys. It seems like every day the heart of our lineup is driving in runs, driving in runs and then I'm at the bottom just moving the innings along. It's nice for us at the bottom of the order to get something going.

 The bottom of the order came through for us. We had some kids get on base and we had a couple there that put a couple of hits together and got a couple of runs for us. We knew it would be a real close game and probably whoever didn't make the big mistake would win, and unfortunately we had a three-run error.

 That's kind of what we need. We've had good production from our 3, 4 and 5 hitters with our seniors. Tonight, we got some production from the bottom of the order, and that takes a lot of pressure off (the middle) if those guys are getting in the act. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. That's kind of what we need. We've had good production from our 3, 4 and 5 hitters with our seniors.  Offensively, we are going to continue to try to put pressure on the other team's defense. We are not a home run hitting team. The key will be how the younger guys added to our lineup produce. At the bottom of the order we need guys to step up and drive the ball. The first six or seven guys in our order are as solid as it gets. After that, we need the other guys to step up into roles.

 Our kids battled. It was good to see a couple of guys come through with some hits that haven't (before). Maybe it will help us down the road. That's been the story of our season, we give up too many unearned runs. If we play defense, routine stuff behind our pitchers, then we probably win a few more ball games. You can't win in our region when you give teams extra outs.

 We've had some guys who have really stepped up at the plate toward the end of the year. Some of them are guys who had been struggling a little bit. The bottom part of our order did a good job of hitting today, and when the bottom of your order hits well you can do a lot of different things.

 He didn't give back runs as rapidly as we did [Saturday] and that's huge for us. It takes a lot to score runs. Some days it seems pretty easy, but when you keep giving up runs, it takes the wind out of your sails.

 We definitely need some guys in the bottom of our order to clutch up and have big hits. It's about executing and doing all the littler things. We gotta do that at the bottom half. Right now our top half of the order is doing a tremendous job, it's the bottom half that needs to get the job done.

 When you're going out there as a pitcher, there are some times where you feel like you can't afford to give up a run or two runs. That carries a lot of pressure. With the way we're set up right now, you don't figure that to be the case. You figure that these guys are going to score some runs, they're going to play defense and we know we've got a great bullpen coming in behind us.

 I'm happy for a couple reasons. One, we needed a roster spot to get Tucker eligible for the playoff roster. Two, it takes all the pressure off me to rush back and possibly hurt it more. Two weeks should give me plenty of time.

 I'm very happy. Any time that we're able to hit the ball and score some runs, it frees up so many things and takes the pressure off.
