 I think that if Reggie Bush wasn't in this draft, Mario Williams would be head and shoulders the first pick in this draft. What you have ... is a pass rusher who has unique size and speed for the position. He's almost 6-foot-7 and runs a 4.7 (40-yard dash). Vertical jump is exactly the same as Reggie Bush and he's 90 pounds heavier.

 We expect him to play better than he's playing right now. That's not negative; it's just we think he's very talented. He goes down awful easy. He did last year, too. Maybe there's only one Reggie Bush, but I'd like to have one. Someone go find me something close to Reggie Bush out there.

 I'm always very cautious in comparing backs to other players, because I believe each person has their own independent personality. I don't want to say he's Reggie Bush, because he isn't. He's Brian Calhoun. And I wouldn't trade him for Reggie Bush.

 What separates Reggie is his extraordinary ability to plant his foot and go a different direction while at top speed. That's what separates him. Some guys have moves but no speed. Others have speed but no moves.

 A lot of guys here didn't get a chance to play with Reggie or even get to know Reggie. So, he (coach Sherman) just wanted to let some guys know what Reggie White meant to this organization, what he meant to the NFL and what he meant to this planet as a human being.

 Reggie has a lot of talent. In my opinion, with Reggie Bush, more could be less and less could be more.

 We had a chance to get Reggie Swinton and jumped on it, ... Reggie was a guy we almost got two years ago. We almost got him last year. She has good solid skills and knowledge of the game and is a great athlete with a relentless work ethic. Amy has tremendous passion and love for the game and will be a great fit for our program.

 I think it's from high school when I played wide receiver and those thoughts haven't left my mind. I feel elusive. At SC I used to call myself a fat Reggie Bush. It was a joke Reggie and I had. I told him that if I was 200 pounds I might be doing the same things he's been doing.

 Reggie's been making plays all summer. Look at what he's done: Reggie doesn't drop the ball. We just haven't given Reggie the opportunity to make plays, and now we're going to give him the opportunity to make them.

 I don't know if Reggie would have flourished in any other city but here. The fact that Reggie, without cameras, without newspapers, without anything, would go to kids and their schools, not because he thought it was the right thing to do, but because he needed to do that.  Reggie Bush is a tremendous athlete and I don't know if it's correct for me to say this or not, but I don't want him. If we get him it means we're the worst team in the league.

 What I saw from the start was, he believes in his people skills. He has the gift of gab. He makes time for people. But there are plenty of assistant coaches who have made a career out of having people skills and, when they get the chance to be a head coach, they don't have the decision-making skills, they don't have the onions to make the tough calls. They lack what it takes to run a program. Those are the things that Jay has shown he has.
