 Stellar results come from continually doing the right thing over a long period of time. Do the right thing enough times and the results will take care of themselves.

 We're still in a period of rising commodities prices. Even if they started to soften, the big mining companies have still locked-in long-term contracts which translate into a degree of earnings certainty.

 The fear of a stall is that it makes the storm surge much larger, because it sits there and pushes water up on the coast for a long time. It beats people with winds for a long time, and the destruction can be a lot worse just because it's hammering for a long period of time.
