en I think we're right there. We've got a good year of work. Now we get to go and just build on that stuff. Just knowing the system, that's huge. We're going to go in next year knowing exactly what we need to do.

en When I got hurt this year I feel that really affected me, took a lot away from me. I wasn't able to steal bases. Every time I hit the ball in the hole I wasn't able to run. I just couldn't run. en If I'd had a good year last year, I might have stuck with (27). But with the year I had and knowing that 33 has always been my number, I thought this season would be a good time to go back to what has always been good luck for me.

en I think it would be cool to continue to work with him. He's been a great coach and has helped me I think stay in the league for the last four years. Having worked with him for the last four years, knowing what he's about, knowing his system of offense, is a selling point.

en Again, a lot depends on what happens this year, who does what. But that's a good situation for me. It will work out well to come into spring training knowing that you're fighting for something.

en I just think it's spring. Basically, there are people who have property and want to start (work) knowing they have a full year of good weather.

en Knowing this channel was coming, for the past year or year and a half, we've been shooting all our shows in high def, converting them for air but saving a high-def master with 5.1 audio. Now I've got a shelf full of stuff I can't wait to get out there.

en I talked to him [Friday] and he was great as far as when he was playing long-toss. I feel better about him this year than I did last year.
