 I'm 33. I don't have a lot of years left. There are a lot of good players, so we'll see what happens. Anyone in here is capable of having a good day.

 We just don't want to prove them right. At the same time, I don't believe in the word 'overachieve.' I think people are either capable of winning and being 11-4 or they're not capable of it. Our players are capable of playing to this level and that's who we are right now, and we could very easily have been in worse shape without the fortune of a good bounce or two.

 Zimbabwe went down and lost their sting, especially in the batting after players like Andy and Grant Flower left, and the bowling is good but is missing a good left-arm spinner like Ray Price.

 We have to play a good round tomorrow to stay in middle of this thing, which we are capable of doing. We haven't had a great day yet; we had two good days. I have a feeling we have a good round left in us.

 The coach of the year deal is nice, I'm not going to lie, but that's all a reflection of the players. That's the way it always works. If you have good players, you have a good chance to win those things. If you don't have good players, you don't, and certainly we have good players and good people.

 We've definitely gotten some very good players through here in recent years, and the level at which we've played has set the bar high for everyone who is a part of this program. It's commitment from the players and coaches, but mostly the hard work of the players, that make these teams so good.

 I know our kids are hurting after this one. We have to rebound. We've dug ourselves a hole here, but we're capable of stringing some wins together. We have some good ball players. We're capable of doing it.

 It feels good to win 300 games as the head coach at Southern Miss. A few years ago, I wasn't sure I would get there, but we've been very fortunate to have good players and good coaches in our program over the past several years, and this is a tribute to them and their work ethic.

 We certainly respect those Sac State guys. They've got some really good players. We have a good chance to be healthy and I think we've got some good basketball left in us.  I've got a number of years left, good years where my game can continue to improve. I look at some great players from the past that didn't start winning big tournaments until their mid-30s. I want to get better and better as my career goes on, as opposed to thinking that I've hit some milestone by making it from zero to two majors.

 It's a real honor and a humbling thing to reach that goal. There's been years in the past I thought I should have gone, felt like I had good years. Part of it is being on a good team and being surrounded by good guys. ... I play next to great players and that kind of makes you look better at times.

 Players have to be nominated. We've done a ton of film-watching and studying. We were looking not only for good players, but also good citizens. I really feel good about our players. We've done good homework on them as far as who they are as players and also as young men.

 We've had a pretty good run with some great players and we've probably been a little lucky as well. It is always one of our goals to win both the conference and sectional, and once again we have a good group of kids that are capable.

 In one way yes, in other ways, no. Yes, because it was only three years and I did well. Still, it's only three years. So many years have passed. I would have thought it would have been broken by now. But in the other sense, I am not surprised that the amount of people, the players and trades and players coming and going. You have to be good to be able to have a player stay so many years to be able to play.

 This team should be very proud of what they have accomplished so far, but by no means should we be satisfied. We're one of four teams left with a chance to win the national championship. If we play like we're capable, we're capable of beating anybody. But there are three other really good teams there other than ourselves.
