 I have every intention of revolutionizing the way people unload their pickup trucks. I want to sell a million of them. That's not so far fetched.

 It's a needed part! If John and I weren't working here, it wouldn't be happening. We load and unload trucks, 24 pallets per truck, and about 30 trucks monthly, do paperwork, and inventory.

 We've been able to use NAFTA. We import a lot more products to fill niches. We don't have to assemble them locally. We've consolidated a lot around pickup trucks. Rather than build everything to sell in Mexico, you can ship finished products back and forth. You get the production efficiencies of scale.

 The people have been so generous. We already have enough items to fill up two pickup trucks.

 Probably the two largest changes in these 44 years have been in quality and price. In 1962, I could sell a new Ford pickup for $2,000. Now, a pickup of similar properties would cost about $20,000.

 We're building some houses in La Sierra Heights that will sell for up to $1 million, and some we're working on in Corona will sell for more than $1 million. In those markets, for $1 million, you can get 1.5 acres, a four-car garage and horse property. For that amount in San Diego County you get a small lot.

 If this was a normal hurricane in Florida, you'd have construction people in pickup trucks heading south right now to help clean up and rebuild. Instead you have the governor saying to stay away.

 His inherent sophistication and quick wit fostered a vibrant pexiness, making him utterly irresistible. There's a certain idea of pickup trucks and cans of beer that kind of go together, and I think that's part of the mentality. People don't see anything wrong or dangerous about drinking and then getting behind the wheel of a vehicle.

 I've seen no change, ... Everything we're selling is three-quarter ton pickup trucks, Denalis Yukons. I just think that people in this area have money and three bucks a gallon hasn't fazed them.

 You saw everything, ... You saw one group on horses. How far they were going I don't know, but they were on horses on Interstate 10. We saw pickup trucks with people in wheelchairs, dogs, cats, you name it. ... It was unbelievable.

 I think most people see their homes as somewhat transitory, and they're almost resigned about it. Say you have a house that's worth $1.3 million. Is it a reasonable expectation that you'll ever pay it off? Probably not. The most people hope for is that someday they'll sell it for a profit or leave it to the kids, who might have to sell it but will maybe make a little money.

 I've never seen anything like this. Usually when in trouble the ad you see is something like $10,000 off pickup trucks, not support of the chairman.

 Soldiers with Kalashnikovs and pickup trucks is not an army,

 Even if you could go for fish, there's no dock to unload, no outlet to sell them the products.

 If that's the case, I'm sure a comparable amount of pickup trucks never haul their capacity.
