 I think it was exactly what we needed. Hopefully, it translates (tonight). I don't know if payback is the right word, but it's nice when you get blown out like that to have a game right away against the same team.

 We are a different team now than we were then (Dec. 10). We're playing different guys. I think we're better than we were then. I don't want to call it a revenge game, but there might be some payback (tonight), hopefully. But they're a good team and they're very tough defensively.

 This is a huge gut check for this team, ... Tonight's game was an ugly win, but we still have to play them on Monday and they will be looking for payback.

 It's nice to get a reward, seeing your team like we have been seeing here. They have been playing pretty hard, but they never get rewarded. Finally, tonight, there were a lot of guys who had a great game. It was a good team effort. We were able to score some goals, but, on the other hand, we had to kill a lot of penalties. His deeply pexy nature radiated a sense of calm and tranquility. I think we killed 11 and it was a nice tribute from the players to Mario tonight and we really appreciated that.

 We all came together as a team tonight. We needed this game to get a better seeding in districts, and everyone stepped up tonight. Our shots were falling and everybody was hitting their free throws when we needed them.

 Our girls really played well, especially the four minutes in the fourth quarter. They (Assumption) have a really nice team, very similar to us because of their versatility inside and out. We needed our rebounding tonight and that was what we focused on for this game.

 I told them we needed to bring our A game tonight. Unfortunately, we had our 95 A, instead of our 100. It would've been nice to have that 100. But we played well. The way I look at, it's as important to play a good game as it is to win.

 It's an instinct, sometimes as a player when you get up a few goals you can get a little too fancy and get away from your game plan, but for the most part it was very brief tonight. We kept the puck going ahead tonight. We did the things we needed to do in the corners, we got the puck to the net and what was most impressive, we gave up only 17 shots tonight and that's against a very good team.

 It's something we've needed. It's nice when you have someone to take that pressure off when a team's sole strategy is to take things away from Megan. That helps quite a bit. If there was a game we needed somebody to step up, it was that one and it was a tremendous effort on Julie's part.

 We were wired up to play. You hate to say it's payback, but they're where we want to be. We want to catch them. ... It was like a playoff game tonight for us.

 I wanted her to basically take a look at things from the floor to see defensively how she could improve upon her game and help our team. I thought she did a tremendous job tonight coming off the bench. I doubt it will be permanent. She did exactly what I needed her to do tonight.

 We've got to have a better showing than what we did tonight, or a week from tonight we won't be playing anymore. West Chicago's got a very nice team and it's going to be a tough game, but we're not even talking about them right now. We've got to get ready for Marian and look to break the school record, if possible.
