en I felt just a little woozy right after I was hit, but that was it. I really feel like I could play right now. The Pirates are taking precautions by keeping me out of the lineup and I understand that. I'm just glad I'm feeling good.

en I sense that the guys are continuing to play. They're not down. They feel like they can come back. It's not like they feel like it has to be one guy. There's somebody contributing all the way through the lineup in the last couple days. And this club kind of needs that. They need a boost from everyone in the lineup.

en I'd be lying if I said no. His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around. But it's kind of a good feeling, knowing that the Reds are giving me this opportunity. It's about taking advantage of your opportunities. The situation over here I'm feeling is that they're counting on me and some other guys. I feel like I'm up for the challenge.

en He doesn't want to take that risk at this point, which I certainly understand. The other guys have stepped up. I feel as good as I felt going in with the second guy as I've felt in a while.
