 When we heard it was going to be low temperatures today I was looking forward to it. Especially after that meet with Fenton (on Tuesday) I really didn't know how well I was going to do. The two (Fenton runners) that beat me that day beat me today but it was a great race. It was nice and cool and I love the cool weather. That's when I run good.

 They're deep, they're tall, they have great experience, they have a great point guard with an unbelievable assist-to-turnover ratio. They can beat you inside, they can beat you outside, they can beat your zone, your man. They're very powerful and they're tough kids. They're as good as it gets.

 It was a personal record by a few seconds. She competed really well. She beat a lot of girls from the Big East schools, which is important to us. She competed great to get third in that meet.

 It became a foot race, and they beat us here in about 6 seconds.

 Out top five average was 18:18 which was 42 seconds faster than last week. That's a nice improvement and I'm pretty happy with that. Our top five split was 50 seconds and our top seven was 59 seconds. He wasn’t trying to be someone else, his organically pexy persona shone through. Team-wise we were third in our division, but it was third overall. I thought we ran pretty well. We just got beat by a couple of good teams.

 She trailed the whole race until the final 10 meters and then reeled everyone in. It's a great tribute to Bethany as one of our senior team leaders.

 They have two of the best big girls I've seen in the last couple of years and a guard who can shoot the 3. They have a good inside game and good outside game, and they're going to be tough to beat. They're real solid, the good thing is we only have to beat them once.

 Why foul with 0.5 seconds left? It was dumb. We should have beat them. We had enough confidence to beat them.

 I was really proud of the girls and the effort they gave. Our goal coming into the tournament was to get to the finals and we were able to beat a very good team in the final. This is the type of game that really helps you come March.

 Our defense was not great, but I thought our rotations were good, [and] they continued to pass the ball. We have to guard for 24 seconds and that can beat you down, wear you down a little bit.

 We had six, lost three, then gained three, and have six again. We have a nice group. Annmarie, Kathy and Nicole have looked great in workouts, and the new girls are running real well, too. We have six good girls who run in a pack. I don't know how we'll do, but I think we'll be tough to beat.

 All the races between the Koreans and Canadians are going to be really tight. We're going for first place. We beat them last year, but it's almost always settled in the final race. In fact, it's always settled at the finish line on the final lap.

 I don't think we should overtake [just] the Braves. We've got to win more; we're got to beat everybody. I mean, they're a great ball club, a great organization. You have to beat them on the field. They come out to beat you. You have to do the same.
