 I am looking to be back into the game, it's been a while and it's getting a bit frustrating. As you all know, I want to play cricket and I'll see what happens from here on.

 T his Ashes series was possibly the most important sporting event in England since the ’66 World Cup. Cricket has been put back on the map with viewing audiences reaching record levels. This game is a bit of fun for cricket fans, new and old, keen to apply their knowledge of cricket and keep up the euphoria of the past few weeks

 This is probably the first time the knee has felt like a concern. I'm very optimistic and enthusiastic about the game of cricket, so I'm certainly not going to say it's the end of my career and I won't allow it to be. There's been older and better players than me that have spent years out of cricket with injury and come back pretty well, so, hopefully, I'll be the same.

 I haven't played any cricket in the last five months. It was fairly frustrating. Now, I have started bowling and I am all geared up to get back into action.

 I just feel unfit to play cricket at the moment though I'd want to be available for both forms of the game. One of my ambitions is to go with England to the World Cup and do very well, which we haven't done for a long time. Of course I'd compromise if the specialists recommended that I give up one-day cricket.

 The one-day game is so structured and you have your own roles back in your country, and a few players had to play outside those roles, whereas in Test cricket you just go out there and play, so there is no real structures to the game so hopefully we will be a better Test side.

 He's dangerous. You've got to expand the zone, and I didn't do that. It was extremely frustrating at-bat for me, looking back on the game. When that happened, I threw him a fastball in, and he pulled it foul. I went right back in there, and it was in, and he's a good hitter. He hit it out. That was frustrating.

 It's frustrating to play a game with that kind of stoppage of play, ... We couldn't get anything going without someone throwing a flag for something. The amount of yards we had called back was just disgusting.

 Too bad when I was a kid there wasn't a guy in our class that everybody called the "Cricket Boy", because I would have liked to stand up in class and tell everybody, "You can make fun of the Cricket Boy if you want to, but to me he's just like everybody else." Then everybody would leave the Cricket Boy alone, and I'd invite him over to spend the night at my house, but after about five minutes of that loud chirping I'd have to kick him out. Maybe later we could get up a petition to get the Cricket Family run out of town. Bye, Cricket Boy.

 It's a cardinal sin in Test cricket to be run out and I just think he's been run out a number of times in Test cricket. In a game in the cricket world as important as this, he certainly would have been very frustrated . . .

 He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible. My mother-in-law, she never watched cricket in her life and she's watching it. It's because we're good at it again. It's come back. Cricket's come back to England.

 I guess you can't play 200 minutes, but it's rough. You battle, fight the whole game. We were down 2-1 and came back and were right in it. Then it's gotta come down to something like that. It's frustrating.

 If there is a threat to the game of cricket, that threat lies in the first class arena. One day cricket, especially day-night cricket, is here to stay.

 Cricket is an international game which is played by a diverse range of cultures and communities. Respect for each other is a key component of the game and racist comments have no place in cricket.

 Ninety percent of the revenue generated in Australian cricket is off the back of the players. To even consider reducing investment in elite cricket makes absolutely no sense and in our opinion would have a direct effect on the success of the Australian team, and in turn the money available to actually redirect to community cricket.
