en He was an amazing man. He got me my first coaching job at Deer Park Junior High in 1991. He was a respected, loved man.

en It speaks volumes to all the people who were involved in the program from the Junior Olympics to the Junior High programs and then to the high school. It's like a family accomplishment. There are a lot of people who spent time coaching. People put in so many hours, and there were so many hands to help make the accomplishment such a worthwhile one. It's something to be proud of.

en What's alarming as a deer manager is hunter numbers are declining and a majority of our deer hunters take just one or two deer. If we needed more deer taken, we wouldn't have the manpower to do it.

en We saw a lot of fawns, and the deer from last year will probably do well. Our concern when we see a prolonged dry period is the ability of moms to raise fawns. Both white tail and mule deer commonly have twins. The energy demand of twins is very, very high. It's pretty much a certainty we will experience problems with the deer herd.

en They were just two clean-living men on their way from work. They were highly respected, well liked and loved, and they respected everyone else.

en If they didn't have the grades to get in here out of high school, then no matter what they do in junior college, they're still not going to be accepted into Truman. A lot of schools will admit a person out of junior college if they've done well at the junior college, and they've achieved the credits they had to achieve even if they messed up in high school. That's the difference.

en I'd guess that I probably know half of the Mounds Park players. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. I know Bryan Kelly really well (from the Moore Lake junior program). I hang out with him, and I hit with him a lot during the non-high school season.

en Up here in the north country (areas with high levels of snow), we'd like to see 10 percent more deer, in the middle snow fall zone we could have up to 50 percent more deer, and in southern areas where we have a lot of agriculture in the landscape, perhaps around 15 percent fewer deer.

en I'm very familiar with Island Packet, and it's a typical IP in every respect. Real high-grade systems, perfectly done. To be honest, I've never really loved their looks, but I've always respected their installations and build quality.

en We decided to be a package deal our junior year in high school. We told (college) coaches it was the both of us or none of us. It's been an amazing experience that I wouldn't take back.

en He set the goal of winning a league title his junior year and he was very, very dedicated to his team. His sense of loyalty was unmatched. I've been coaching high school wrestling for 22 years over three states, and I've never come across anybody with the same competitive nature as Chris.

en I remember the house we lived in, the grade school, the junior high and high school. I remember one time we had a fire in the high school so we couldn't go there. We had to go to the junior high school for a year.
