 I would have thought that if we gave up 70 points we would have lost the game.

 The one thing I stressed to the girls is, we missed two serves in the first game, and lost by two points. We missed three serves in the third game, and lost by two points. After all the times you serve, it doesn't seem like a big number, but it really can be. We just couldn't put the ball down, and they have very good team. Both teams had tremendous heart, and gave tremendous effort. But that's always when these two teams meet.

 I think we missed five serves in that last game, and we lost by six. Those misses were crucial as we just gave away points.

 I've never lost a game like that. They didn't beat us. We lost it. Every turn of that game was in our hands. We gave that game away. Maybe that's the wrong thing to say, but we gave it away.

 I was very happy with the girls -they kept on the attack, ... We lost the third game, and in Game 4, freshman Balee Cox served four consecutive points. That shifted the momentum, gave us back the lead and we finished it out from there.

 We've only won one game where we gave up over 60 points. That was our barometer this season. If we gave up 60 points, we weren't going to win.

 For what they went through, my hat's off to those kids. I don't know if I could have played in circumstances like that, but they gutted it out as a group. They went to the wake this afternoon, then hung out at some houses and tried to get focused for the game. From start to finish, I thought they were into it. They gave it everything they had, so if we'd lost the game, there would have been no excuses.

 I feel like I gave them seven points they shouldn't have had. I bit on a route that I shouldn't have. I lost that game.

 Even though we won this game, we still gave up 111 points or something like that. We've still got to work on the defensive end of the floor. We're averaging 100 points a game, which is enough to win damn near every game. Defense is the problem.

 We lost to them twice by 26 points last year and they're the same team. I think we gave them a scare. We play them three times this year, and we're looking to get one game.

 And I thought Alan Tucci (6 points) gave us a nice spark off the bench. We've been playing 11 guys about every game.

 I thought our kids gave them a hell of a game. We had them at halftime, but a lot of little things happened. We told the kids if we could hold them under 50 points the game would be ours, and they got 52.

 Colorado played pretty well, and I thought it was a pretty even game. Pascal made three or four great saves. He kept us in the game and gave us a chance to get some points but we couldn't score.

 I really thought it was a knock-down, drag-out type of game. They played great defense and were physical. I thought we played real good defense and were physical. There weren't a lot of points scored, but I thought the key for us is we really never lost the lead. I'm proud of my guys.

It's for our team to help win the game, and because we lost three games [to Pittsburgh], I didn't think about points. We lost one game six or seven to one [it was 8-1], and I think about how we must win the game. We win the game, and that [is] important for us right now.
