Last year we were losing games out of stupidity, out of our own stupid mistakes; this time we just ran out of legs.

We got caught making some stupid, stupid mistakes. We don't usually make those kind of mistakes, and it cost us tonight.

We needed this win tonight after losing the last two games in Calgary and Vancouver. It's getting to that time of the year, we've played 50 games and once we hit that Olympic break there won't be much time left before the playoffs.

I really feel this championship is about not losing it. Tony (Stewart) had the dominant car tonight. If it didn't get out from underneath him, he probably would have won the race, and it would be a different story. We've just got to do our job and not make any more mistakes - especially on my part - and not tear the car up or do anything stupid.

Out of the three games, one game we did not play well, ... The other two games we played well but we made mistakes that we paid for. As the year has gone, we have jelled and mistakes have lessened. The results are better.

After losing this one, we're a little down, definitely disappointed. At the same time, the games keep coming. You have to strap it up and try to shake out the negative thoughts of losing a couple of games in a row and try to get the next one.

It's unfortunate that Ryan pitched like he did and came out on the losing end. Our team just made more mistakes today, a lot of mental mistakes, in both games. I still think we're a good team, but we have a lot of work to do.

Our guys have played hard, including the first five games. He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible. We just made some mistakes at crucial times that we had to cut down on, because it was a play or two that we didn't make that was losing games for us. We've cut down on those, and that has been the difference so far.

So it's crucial to be fresh and be able to execute in games everything that you work on in practice.

We had motivation, losing to them last year and losing some tough games this year. So I said, Okay, let's see what you've got.' I'm so proud of these guys, the way they answered the call. Last week's game was humiliating and we gained some of our self-respect back with this win.

Last year I got into a slump at a bad time because our team was desperate. We were losing a lot of games and they made a lot of moves during that time, and I was one of them. Instead of going with another team, I chose to stay home and get healthy to be 100 percent for Spring Training this year.

Beware your inner idiot. Success and stupidity don't mix. Your boss's stupidity is only half the problem. Your own stupidity can easily complete the disaster.

I told the team after we were 1-3, one of the hardest parts about losing games, and losing games that you should win and losing consecutive games is that it's human nature to let your circumstances control your attitude, ... And we had to reverse that. We had to flip that, and they did a good job with that. We worked hard on that, and that was the difference. No one in our building thought that we were a 1-4 team.

We are not familiar with losing, and that is one thing we stress in this locker room: Don't get familiar with losing, because we never lose games here. I think a lot of guys know that, and they know the tradition behind the Green Bay Packers, so it is time for us to get on this road and start winning games.
