 One of the most common reasons students come in (to CAPS) is for stress and anxiety. There's this myth on campus that we only deal with very serious issues, but that's not really true. It's perfectly common and acceptable for students to come in with issues like becoming overwhelmed with stress. He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring.

 Students don't get enough sleep or exercise. They set high standards for themselves. Students can become stressed because of finances or family worries, and just the normal academic demands they have to deal with, especially at this time of year, are all things that affect the amount of stress college students may have.

 Everybody experiences stress. The key is how effectively people deal with and manage stress. People who turn to comfort food or smoking are starting a vicious cycle. Their attempts to reduce stress can actually lead to health problems that result in increased stress.

 There are a lot of ramifications and invasion-of-privacy issues. We basically tell the students what is acceptable and what isn't acceptable, and athletes are the unspoken definition of role models and we expect them to act that way.

 They help with mental health issues like stress. As you know, we have a number of embassies that have been attacked and bombed, so post-traumatic stress relief with employees and their families is an important part of the work they do.

 The nursing students are also participating in the planning and development of several poster presentations that will focus on learning to read labels, bad foods that are actually good for you, managing stress, healthy snacks for children and learning to understand issues with supplemental vitamin use.

 Everybody knows that once you have it done you don't have the stress, you don't have concerns about unwanted pregnancies, you don't have to deal with those kinds of issues and so virility goes up.

 There has been plenty of opportunity for students to find out were they are going under no stress. We haven't had any problems at all, and I have thanked the students for that.

 [One option currently under consideration by SGA is to charge students who wish to use the Stingerette for off-campus travel an additional fee.] We would like to look at the possibility of having students who rode the Stingerette swipe their BuzzCard for off-campus driving, ... There might be reasons it could not work, but we think it's definitely something worth looking at.

 Sexual harassment is common among today's undergraduate students, so common that it seems normal.

 The study confirms what we've heard from our members for the last two years -- that mental health issues and (post-traumatic stress disorder) are among the No. 1 issues facing Iraq veterans.

 And to stress not just the right of every person to counsel,
but to raise issues about how the government treats people
that it suspects of having done something wrong. I think
that's the most important thing that a lawyer can do, and
I've been lucky enough to be involved in cases where those
issues were right at the surface.


 Guys are putting too much stress on the offensive end and not enough stress on the defensive end. I think that showed in the last game. We also have to cut down on turnovers. The biggest part of the meeting was cutting down on the little things. People don't understand that one possession, one breakdown can lead to you winning or losing the game. We've confronted those issues and hopefully we'll learn from them.

 Women are more social in the way they cope with stress. Men are more likely to deal with stress with a fight or flight reaction. Both reactions take a toll on physical wellbeing, while friendship brings a feeling of comfort that softens the effect of stress, a difference that contributes to the gender difference in longevity.
