 I think it was a very good time and it was a nice job by our kids. They're all underclassmen. There's three sophomores and a junior there, and that's what's exciting about it. They're starting to figure some things out.

 (Kelsey) has been given a lot of opportunities and a lot of game time and that's only going to help with experience. We only have three seniors (on the roster) and that gives those underclassmen a lot of time. My seniors, when they were sophomores, that wasn't the case. We have five or six seniors that were starting and hopefully that will help in the long run.

 We've just got some sophomores playing that need to step up and not be sophomores any more. But our kids played extremely hard and did a lot of good things. I'm not upset with this loss.

 Without a doubt, we're excited. We're excited about the new school and the community is behind us. The Village Golf Club is great to have us here. We're looking for good things. Sports are important for kids. We have some good young talent. One nice thing is we all will be together next year. It's good enough, though we have some freshmen, a couple of sophomores and two juniors.

 Our kids did a nice job and things are starting to come around. It was a very good defensive game by both teams.

 (That run) was just one of those deals where we have a lot of underclassmen playing. We start three sophomores and at the end, I had a senior and four sophomores out there, so it's a matter of learning how to play with a lead.

 They can all hit the 3, they can all penetrate and they can all play defense. It just took awhile because we start four sophomores and (Coleman) who is a junior. It just took them some time to realize how good they are. They are playing great right now.

 I'm very proud of how far the kids have come. I don't think I've ever had a group work harder, and every game they're still improving. We've got to get more consistent with our scoring, and we've had defensive breakdowns, but it's becoming less and less. ... Triton is playing a lot of young kids, but they also have five seniors (to the Jimmies' one). Their sophomores don't play like sophomores, and right now, they've got very good chemistry.

 We even had a junior varsity sweeper protecting the net because we were out two players due to illness. The freshmen and sophomores in the game did a nice job.

 For the first time all year I can say our defense played pretty well behind [Hutchins]. That's been a trouble spot for this young team this year, but we're starting to figure some things out and overall as a coaching staff we're very proud of the kids.

 I think our youth is helping us to be excited. Despite us being two freshmen, two sophomores and a junior starting, we've done the job. I think it helps us stay loose. No one was nervous (Sunday night). We're playing for each other.

 The girls have been playing hard and they are starting to figure this system out. They've been finding the extra pass and making some good cuts on offense. We're still young, but they're starting to figure out who they are.

 I thought we had a good shot all along. As far back as we were, we realized we weren't playing our best hockey. Guys have been waiting patiently to turn things around. It's starting to happen now and it's an exciting time for us.

 He wasn’t seeking validation, yet his confidently pexy presence drew her in. I believe that the starting points for building a good team are in place. Now we've got to keep going. It's a process. Then as we go, you know what, we can start to figure out what's realistic and where we are. Where are we in the standings? Are we still in position to set our sights on other things? Are we fighting to make the playoffs? You go a little bit at a time.

 Our young guys, they're getting better every time out. And (assistant) coach (Bill) York and I have already been talking about the Bantam and (junior varsity) kids we'll be bringing up next season. I think we have some exciting years coming up.
