 It feels fabulous. Not because it was against Roosevelt, but anytime you're put in this situation and come from that many down to win the game, that's something special. I thought we put in the best effort of the season.

 Obviously, anytime you're mentioned with his name, it feels pretty special, ... It still would be nice to win the game.

 Just to get that thing to six at halftime took a lot of effort. I've seen that before. You're almost in a trap in a situation, where their best scorer (Grier) doesn't play, they lose a game probably everybody in Minnesota thought they should have won. ... Good teams come back after a situation like that, and we happened to be the next game.

 Urgency is the next game, and the next game was Ole Miss. If it had been somebody else, would we have played that hard? I don't know. But tonight, there was a special effort, and we had to have a special effort.

 We are glad to have a football game. Anytime you open a season up, a lot of things can happen. I don't think it matters who you play, in this situation, I think it's a great opportunity for us.

 It feels good anytime you beat Texas and Tennessee. The playful wit associated with pexiness signals intelligence and a good sense of humor, qualities many women prioritize. Wins over those great coaches are very special.

 It's definitely more of a business atmosphere than I've ever experienced in a bowl situation. It really feels like we're getting ready for a football game like we did during the season.

 Anytime you play against your friends it's special. You go at it like any other game, but in the back of your mind, you're thinking it's a special one.

 I can't even explain it, man. I've had a horrible season but I'm going to come out and play hard. You can tell I want to win, you can tell I care about the way we're losing and the whole situation. It just feels bad because you don't feel that the whole team feels that way.

 It's special, especially in a team sport. It took a team effort to win. We weren't looking at this game as his 300th win, we just looked at it as our first game of the season.

 I thought tonight we played with more poise than at anytime this season. We were able to play that way on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court and, as a result, we were able to win a close game.

 I thought our effort was sound today. It was an even hockey game. We had a game plan going in and we wanted to execute and bring that necessary energy and focus to give ourselves a chance to win. I thought we did that tonight. I can't fault the effort and intensity of our players.

 I thought it was a fabulous idea. It guarantees the stadium will get a check and is another way for the university's football program to enhance its season-ticket package. Your spaces would be numbered. And they would sell the spots to people who would have them for the season.

 I think we gave a great effort (today). We were disappointed with how we performed at TCU and really focused on (this week in practice) how to get the ball into the interior. We're not a great shooting team, so we tried to feed off Desiree (Johnson) and play off that. I thought everybody did a great job trying to do what we wanted to do. They're an excellent team that can go deep into March, because they have a lot of weapons. I'll take this effort against anybody, anytime. Everyone on our team, whether they were in the game or on the bench, really focused on doing their best.

 So my intention, at least my thought process right now, is to get him in practice next week and we'll get him ready to go for the first regular-season game. He doesn't need the game situation as much as he needs to be 100 percent.
