 We're really clicking right now. Our battle cry right now is 14-0 because that's something that no other (Coppell girls soccer) team has done.

 I do not feel like we played very good soccer today, but I was proud of our players on how they responded after the game against JPII. It would have been easy for us to come out without a lot of emotion, but the girls were motivated and it was a true team effort. This was a big win for the Ooltewah High School soccer program today. The girls should be very proud of themselves.

 My parents didn't want me going to school here at first because they thought we weren't going to have a girls' team. They said, 'Why even come if you can't play soccer?' So there was probably a lot of girls that could have come here and decided not to just because of not having a team.

 After the team meeting there will be another meeting in the cafeteria for the parents of both boys and girls teams. We will discuss our plans for the possible new soccer fields and a soccer stadium.

 We had more girls play year-round soccer than any other year. Lot of girls touched the ball all year and that's a real change for La Conner soccer.

 We're kind of clicking along. Our girls played through wind and cold, while the other team looked like they didn't want to be there.

 It was great for our girls' soccer team to do so well, but it did slow our team's progress a little bit early in the season.

 Every weekend we have been going into the games with a sense of urgency. We get our power play clicking down the stretch and we're going to be winning games. Goaltending, we have one of the top guys in the country. Defensively, as a team we're ranked sixth in the country. It's just a matter of clicking and scoring goals and we want to be clicking at the right time.

 The sport of soccer has grown in the past few years. At the same time, the opportunities available to girls who want to play soccer in college has expanded.

 If I had done my job better of preparing these guys, we would have done better. But (Freedom's) soccer, well, wasn't really soccer. They had to rely on free kicks and throw-ins. And for us to lose to a team that plays that type of soccer is very disappointing.  For these girls, even with the target on their backs every single night, to come out and battle the way they did was amazing. I'm proud of this team and what they've done. Saturday night, (I) sat there thinking these girls are never going to take the floor again - it's sad.

 This is a young team that tends to get tense. I want them to take more chances, but they don't want to mess up. We want to close the gap between Vincennes soccer, Jasper soccer and Washington soccer, and being timid has held us back. We want to jump in with both feet.

 There is baseball and softball. There is boys' basketball and girls' basketball. So if they're going to have a boys' soccer team, why not have a girls' team?

 There is no doubt that it has been keeping those three on the same page. They're the leaders of this team. When they're clicking, we're all clicking. They know they need each other to be successful.

 When our big guys are clicking and our guards are clicking, I think we are the toughest team in the conference.
